G37 sedan sells in Dallas, TX by sewellgsm

We just finished our month last night at Sewell Infiniti. We sold 48 G37 sedans (mostly RWD) and averaged $1081 over invoice - $2500 dealer cash = $1419 below invoice. Keep in mind this was the average, some folks were less and some more. Some bought chrome wheels, tint, and other accessories and money we made on those accessories is in these figure too.

The one common theme I've seen on this site is all of people get great deals because you do your due diligence, you shop around, you don't rush into anything. You guys are the minority, many customers come in - pick out what they want - negoiate for a few minutes - buy the car and move on happy as can be. I post these numbers to let you guys know you stand in your deals. Always remember, the price of the new car is part of the deal - don't forget the trade and financing. Feel free to ask any questions and enjoy your G's!!

I test drove a G37 sedan with Premium and Sports Package at a California dealer yesterday. I like the car a lot.
I would like to know the lowest price you have seen to start a negotiation.

Thanks for all your information on this forum.

In Texas, if we are negotiating over the phone or the internet and trying to get someone to come to our dealership we will offer around $4500 off the MSRP - that is about the going price in Dallas. The least expensive G37 sedan with Premium and Sport Pkg I have has a window sticker of $39,165 - if you were here I'd offer it to you for $34,601 + TTL. Out if California, you may get a couple hundred more off - don't forget your trade and financing are just as important - have fun - the car is worth it!

PS The price will be $2500 higher if you take the special financing (0% for 36 months, etc) or if you lease.

I am interested in leasing a G37 sedan with premium and nav. What can I expect, based on the experience of the members on this board? Thanks!

This is tricky because there are so many variables. Big one is the state you live in and how they asses taxes, another is how many miles a year you need along with how long do you plan to lease it for, then do you have a trade along with do you own an Infiniti (currently have a loyalty rebate for those who own an Infiniti) and finally your credit - Infiniti have 5 Tiers of credit.

But here is a ballpark for you - for a Texas resident - I picked out a 09 G37 sedan, Premium Pkg and Navigation with some other minor options - the MSRP is $39,425 - assuming no trade, no loyalty rebate, good credit (Tier 1), driving 15k per year - a 39 month lease should work out for around $554/month with $800 due at signing (covers 1st payment and title and license). This is just an idea for you - remember all the considerations listed above.

'09 G37 - Coupe : Prem, nav, sport, cargo mats etc, dest, MSRP $45080

is $40,000 out the door with trade and TTL included good including all the incentives etc. at this time?

what is the most one should pay for this. this is the last one with options and color i want in the area. I don't expect too many 09 G37 to ship with the new '10 models coming out.

thanks for the help. This forum has been super helpful. I felt much more prepared to go into the dealer than ever before.

Closed a deal with Peoria Infiniti in Arizona the other day. It was a great shopping experience with no surprises. The details are as follows:

G37 sedan black ext/ graphite interior, premium and nav package, glass breakage sentinel, splash guards, illuminated kick plates, and cargo net, built in June 2009 and 11 miles on the odometer

MSRP 39,905
Invoice 36,606

Negotiated out the door cash price of $37,900, so the dealer backed in the rest of the numbers. The breakdown of price is as follows:

Car Price 36,556
Taxes 2,758
TTL 636
Doc Fee 449
Rebate -2,500

The car also had door guards, tint, and wheel locks as extras. It was a great price lower than all of the other Phoenix metro dealers by a few hundred. Got the deal on the last day of the month, which was a needed to get that price. I had the same salesperson as someone from an earlier post; her name begins with an M and she was very straight forward and upfront about pricing, etc. She was also able to comply with my various requests as I was requesting various things in writing before I would go to the dealership.

Does anyone have any idea what a good price on the 7 year/100,000 mile extended warranty and 5 year maintenance plan is? That thread is pretty much dead. Sewellgsm, it looks like you work for a dealership, any idea on what a fair price is for these items? I'm interested in both because we usually take our cars to the dealers for the first 5 years and with all of the tech on these cars would be nightmare to replace in the Arizona heat.

Agree, great price profus. I am in the market for a G37 +Premium+Nav, Northern California. Any thoughts from the forum on where I can get a similar deal or better?

If you don't mind waiting a few months it's probably worth waiting for the 2010 (if) it comes with direct injection which will yield some more ponies and better MPG. Good luck!

Bought an 09 6mt coupe, msrp at about 45k. Got it for about 44k otd, $40,101 before fees, almost 1k below invoice. Used their promotional financing at 2.9% for 60 months. This was at Beshoff in San Jose. I guess you can take advantage of the 2,500 rebate if paid in cash full i suppose..
