I have not been actively shopping. However, checking on carsdirect.com with your specs (plus Sport package as it is required for Tech Package), the price comes to $39,698. This is for SoCal and without any negotiation.

Good deal in Bay Area? by bizzy930

My gf just purchased a 2009 G37 Sport, 6MT fully loaded except for tech package. It also included illum door sills, impact alarm, trunk mat/net, rear spoiler, and splash guard. Located here in northern cali (bay area), she got it for $40,101 plus fees. Msrp was about $44.6k. This was about a couple hundred below invoice I believe. Did she strike a decent deal? Im starting to think we could have dipped into the $39k region for this car.

to bizzy, i think your gf got a pretty good deal, esp if she is financing or leasing. if she paid in full, then she might have been able to get a little more discount - but im not sure what the supply/demand is in north cali.

im gonna get the g37x coupe as soon as im done with my mcats, before 9/30 while theyre still offering $2500 cash to dealer incentive. i intend on paying in full to take advantage of this deal, as i sense the economy is getting better and deals like this may dry up.

to others: if you have recently purchased a g37, i would appreciate if you could briefly state what you paid. this would benefit prospective buyers like me.

If she walked out of there feeling like she got a good deal and is happy with the car that is all that matters. There is nothing to do about it now even if it was a lousy deal except to get bummed out. Tell her to go enjoy the car.

Utah doesn't deal by brooke37

If you are in Utah be forewarned that Tim Dahle Infiniti dealership is unwilling to negotiate on prices even if cars sit on the lot unsold. They are in the business not to do business. In fact, they will not even talk prices over the phone or email. They do not post prices on their website so that buyers have to come in person to look at their inventory. My friend spent 8 hours trying to buy an Infiniti in this economic climate. Really?! No worries - I found that other dealerships in Denver, CA (Metro Infiniti), and D.C. area were willing to negotiate over the phone and make the buying process enjoyable and easy. Bottom line: if your local dealership will not move on price, go elsewhere.

She dropped 11k down and financed the rest at 2.9% for 60 months. Took 3-4 hours to close the deal.

Dealer priced G37AWD with sport,Prem, Tech,Nav,Front Chin spoiler, rear spoiler, splash guards for $42,950 and has to order it. MSRP is $44,455 & invoice $40,645.

Does not sound as good as what I am seeing here but he has to order it.

Another dealer for the same car without the $1100 tech pk but had to trade for it was offered up at $42,142.

What do you think?

I am going back to price with a trade in and see what price I can get.

7/23 purchased G37X, Blue Slate, sport, prem, tech, nav, rear spoiler, splash guards, couple other small accessories for $38,000. Was showroom model and they quoted price forgetting there was VentureShield installed. Stayed true to quote.

Family relative offered same deal to start and grabbed it. (couple of changes to their car - No sport, no spoiler, wood trim added, Shield included!!! )

Couple goodies coming my way for referrral

3-4 hours to close a deal is pretty fast. I had customers that took 8 hours and had to come back the next day just to "start" the paperwork. all that work just for a 100 dollar mini.
