I've read a lot of recent posts about below invoice pricing on the Coupe. Edmunds TMV is currently $42,022 (metro-Houston) for the '09 G37 Journey w/ Prem, Nav, Tech, and Wood. This must not include the current $2500 Cash-to-Dealer Incentive or else there is not real discount at all. Figuring in the $2500 Incentive the price could be about $1350 below Invoice. I'm skeptical - is this reasonable in metro-Houston?

| Scottsdale Infiniti sold me a 2009 Journey Coupe (Black/Graphite) with premium, sport package and splash for $2,500 under invoice. This is invoice minus the manufacturer's price support for July. I did my research and told the dealership that I could buy the car through the American Express member car buying service that uses Zag at some California dealerships that are Zag participants for the same price. Scottsdale said they would match it. Also, I found financing at Bank of America and Infiniti matched the interest rate. I am very happy with my transaction. | |

Replying to: g35fun (Jul 20, 2009 4:57 pm) I know BofA offers one of the lowest rates. If they could not have matched the interest rate from BofA, do you think you they would still offer that price if you opted for BofA? or would you lose the $2500 incentive. Obviously, if you loose the $2500, then taking the infinity rate or rebate would be better. The reason I'm asking is if the $2500 is contingent on using the infiniti financing or whether this is strongly suggested only. Here is how it is quoted in the incentive and rebate section: "$2500 Dealer cash may not be combined with 0% APR - 3.9 % APR and vehicle must be financed through the manufacturer's captive finance company. " Thanks. |
