What month did they do the 0.9% financing for 60 months last year? What is everybody's gut feel whether they'll do it again this year?

They have 0% now but for that they won't give you a good deal. It's one or the other.

IN your drive off fees the bank fee is 595 and the car is 488. What is the other $1000.00 dollars? Most of the people I talked to on this car suggest the 39 month lease for the Infiniti. Sometimes the 39 months gets the monthly fee lower depending on how the deal is structured. since three people told me this you should ask the dealer about it. Maybe they quoted you on 39 months and you thought it was 36.

Did this include the NAV? That car has a very nice NAV from what I saw in a test drive. Seems like you have found a pretty good deal so far depending on a few things.

It's only 0.9% for 36 months or 2.9% for 60 months. Last year, I think it was 0.9% for 60 months. That's a pretty big difference. Does anybody know?

I bought my 08 G35X in November for a little over 5k off list with .9 percent for 60 month. The trade off at the time was the ,9 for 60 months or and additional 3k discount without the point 9. For me the .9 was 121.00 cheaper over 5 years than taking the 3k and typical 5.5 percent financing. The point 9 made the payments palitableI so I went for the lower payment it was interesting when you looked at the amortization schedule and how many months it takes to cross vs taking the money up front. I used the banknote.com cash vs percentage rate calculator to evaluate my deal. If I remember correctly the crossover point was 2+ years into the car.

Thanks rhard49. That was a really good deal you got last year. I'm still on the fence right now and in no rush to buy one yet unless the deals get even better =).

I was looking at the old posts from last year and this is what I got.

Sep 08
  - $3,000 mfg to dealer cash (cannot be combined with 0.9% for 60mos financing)
  - 0.9% financing for 60mos (cannot be combined with $3,000 mfg to dealer cash)

Oct 08
  - $3,000 mfg to dealer cash (cannot be combined with 0.9% for 60mos financing)
  - 0.9% financing for 60mos (cannot be combined with $3,000 mfg to dealer cash)
  - $1,000 mfg to consumer rebate (can be combined with 0.9% financing for 60mos)

Thank you, mjdv, for summing up incentives for Sept and Oct of 08. Would you mind sharing what kind of incentive was offered in Aug 08?

We can wait till Sept to take advantage of the incentives, but I also heard a rumor that Infiniti is manufacturing less # of cars this year, so there would smaller inventory with dealers. So, I am little concerned that I may not get my choice of G37 Sedan in Sept. Can anybody shed more light on it? If my concern is valid, then I would like to purchase in Aug. Thank you!

Have three quotes for a Jouney sedan without premium in the Phoenix area.

A) $1,789 over invoice
B) $1,157 over invoice
C) $1,131 over invoice.

I leased a G35 Sedan from Dealer B for $388 over invoice last August. They agreed to $100 last year but then tacked on $288 of dealer add-ons. Heck the first offer from all of the dealers last year was $500 over invoice.

So how with sales figures down for Nissan down over 25% in June over a already crummy year in 2008 am I getting such bad offers.

Try Melanie at Peoria Infiniti. You should be able to do better and get the full rebate as well for a purchase. I don't know about the lease.
