I did not get the manual. The last manual car I owned was in 2003 and I vowed never get another. I know that with sports cars it seems pointless to not get a manual but I just couldn't go back to another. However, I do get a chance to simulate the manual experience minus the clutch of course. I'm sure it the manual G37s must be alot of fun nevertheless. Is the temperamental clutch something that can be fixed or is it just something you'll have to learn to get use to? Do you suggest not to use the all seasons because they are not as good as the summer tires?

The summer tires should be better in all conditions in terms of grip and predictability, except below 40 degrees and in snow/ice. Although, they will be notably louder than the all seasons.

Sales tax in Los Angeles is going up to 10% in April, from the current rate of 8.25%. Does anyone know if the tax on lease payments will stay at the lower rate if the deal is closed by the end of March?

California taxes the lease payment, each month... It isn't paid in advance..
Ergo, tax will go up on April 1st, regardless of when lease is closed.

I think L.A. County Sales Tax rate will be 9.75% soon.
If you PURCHASE a vehicle, before tax rate increase, then you will save on
sales tax. Also, if you purchase or lease this month, License Fee should be
less. They will be raising Vehicle Lic Fee also for all Californians.

I was wondering whether to get the Infiniti Elite Extended Warranty (7 yr/100K miles). If so, what is a good price?
Just bought my G37x with Premium and Navigation for $36,300. I could have bargained a little harder, but it seems like this was a decent enough price for this time.

Wow, it looks like a really good deal. Were you able to get finanace (0.9% for 72 months) with that price?

No, I took the discount instead of the cheap financing. I got 4.54% for 60 months through Chase. This was arranged for by the dealer; the best I had gotten was 4.65% from BofA, although I could have gotten a little bit cheaper if I was willing to open an account with a credit union.
