| anyone here looking into the g37 convertible? i know it's gonna be tough to get a great deal on a hot new car like that - but I am hoping to get something decent given our economic situation. Has anyone heard any 'insider' info on packages/pricing? | |

Hi, Can you please help me with evaluation of this offer - that's my first lease and I am completely lost. I've got a deal in Douglas Infinity, NJ for 2008 G35x with premium package for 34,000. Dealer claimed that invoice was around 35,000. Does it sound right or should I demand to see some paper? Edmunds invoice is $34,751. The lease is for 39 months with 52% residual ($19,801) and $398.61 monthly payment with 3,212 total drive off. What completely stops me in tracks is a lease rate of 0.79. Doesn't seem to correspond to anything at all - what money factor it might to imply? Salesman said this number comes from Infinity and they can't change it. You help will be very appreciated. |

I tried to calculate rate backwards from monthly payments and came up with a rate of %1,25. I'll get explanation out of dealer in Monday, but I need to collect all the right answers. |

Replying to: meyrick007 (Feb 02, 2009 1:03 am) I DO have an offer on a 2009 G37 sedan with premium, nav, and sport from a dealer for basically $4,000 of MSRP + TTL. Just come in and pick a color. This appears to be pretty darn close to invoice. For those in the Houston or Texas regions, is this good enough on a 2009? Any opinions? |

Replying to: Supermac34 (Feb 02, 2009 8:11 am) I'm interested in a G37 Journey w/ Sport and Premium (MSRP $41.5K), but the lowest offer I think they'll consider is around $36.5K+TTL ($39.3K OTD). If I could get the coupe for $31.5K+TTL, I'd have it sitting in my driveway right now. If anyone has been shopping for the '08 coupe, I'm extremely interested in hearing what kind of deals/offers are being accepted. If there really is a $10K of MSRP, I'll fly out of state and drive back!! My opinion about the '09 sedan is you'll get basically the same deal they're giving on the '08 coupe without the cash incentive. You'll pay invoice, but that's about the best it will get due to the rising yen. |
