Replying to: njalan (Nov 10, 2008 4:44 pm) try going to autotrader.com look at new cars and dealers only put in your zip and the area in miles to search I know if I search within 50 miles of my house It comes up with almost 400 G35x's Ramsey infiniti in NJ lists 88 cars, competition infiniti on LI one of the biger dealers here lists 144 there seem to be a lot of cars out there.

Oh well, I think the Infinity even at $31k (for the G35x with Premium) may be just out of my price range, since Acura's offering me an easy $28.5k for the 2008 TL (without Nav).   Now one last choice.... do I get a loaded 2006 BMW 330i or the 2008 TL? choices, choices, choices... Replying to: tanjak (Nov 10, 2008 2:30 pm) Tanjak....You might wanna check Metro Infiniti in Monrovia, CA. I bought my 2008 G35 Journey with prem/nav package around 31k plus license, tax, etc.. Since I didn't take their finance I also got a 5k discount.

Unless you just can't wait I'd hold on until the 09 G37 sedans start trickling in then you'll see G35s at prices in your range, and you'll have the best car of the 3 IMO (Since the 08 G will have a full new car warranty compared to a used 330i). The TL is a decent car, but not in the same performance category as the G & 330i. Replying to: waynedoggy (Nov 11, 2008 7:52 am) I found that Edmunds' invoice is high. You probably can get it around 25k include tax, license with a base G35. Cars.com has a Smart Target Price of 29,518 for a base G35, that is a negotiating price. If you provide your own finance or pay cash you might get 5k off the price. After driving both the 330i and G35x again yesterday, I noticed the following... The RWD 330i with sport package had noticeably better handling and much tighter steering and suspension than the G, but the G did have a nicer engine. The one thing I didn't like about the G's engine was the harsher shifting though.   I'm thinking the extra money for the G right now, lower mpg due to the more powerful engine, and the fact that I don't really care as much about straight-line performance, makes me lean towards getting the 330i, because that is one fun car when the roads are curvy!
