I'd check on the warranty..

My guess is that it starts on the in-service date of the car. Which is usually when the dealership starts driving it.

The car was sold to me as "new" not as a "demo". I am sure the 4 years starts when I purchased the car. I made the finance person show me when I signing the papers. But I bet the 6300 miles is included in the 60,000 total.

I understand...

When you take your car in for service.. ask the service writer for the expiration date of your warranty. Just to be sure.

idoc can you give me and idea of the number your coming up with, I'm in NY and looking at the same configuration X with prem nav wood splash guards best I've been able to get to is 34795 with the .9 percent. Also fee's in NY should be only dmv's, a 12 dollar tire fee and a small fee for doing it old plates 60-75 new 100-120 anything else is BS

got a 08 G37S with Premium package for $36,250 or $604/month for 60 months with the 0.9% financing (purchased not lease). How did I do ?! and I am looking for any kind of wheels/rims that would fit on it so I can throw some snow tires on during the winter, does anyone know of the wheels/rim specs for the G37S?

hey,
I did a 500 miles radius shopping, and got a 08 G37S with premium (No Nav.). I used the 0.9% financing and got it for $604/month (~$36,200), fees and charges are all included.

Please advise from what dealership (name and town) in NY you got this quote. $34795 with 0.9% financing means about the same as $31795 with cash, which is $850 better than the quote I got from my NJ dealership. That would be a super deal. I would like to find out myself to see if such deal is still available.

Glad you found a good deal in NY. If you find an honest dealership your fees could be lower. The sales consultant at my local dealership appears to be honest (to a certain degree). When I asked him why there was a difference between the total invoice shown on Edmunds vs his total invoice price, he told me there was $250 advertising fee added on his quote. This is padding to me.

Please pay attention to the following small items:
1) Doc fee: It varies from $99 (I saw some time ago from other postings) to $400. You can consider it as padding if the doc fee is high. No matter what happens you cannot save this fee if you buy or lease the car. He quoted $249 as doc fee.

2) Reg fee: It varies from state to state. In NJ a new registration is for 4 years and I think $334 is about right. If you have a trade in and elect to keep the same plate the reg fee should be substantially lower.

3) Tire & misc fees are too small to worry about.

Additionally, the sales tax is different from state to state as well. In NJ the tax is 7% but I think NY City has a higher rate while Upstate NY's rate is lower.

Hope this info helps. Happy car shopping!
