why does it say in the details of the link above that there is a charge per $1000K borrowed per month if it's 0%? IE, it says $41.67 per month at 0%... does it have something to do with apr vs actual interest rate or something?

The interest rate is still zero but the payment is 41.67 per thousand borrowed for 24 months. 27.78 for 36.months. if you borrowed 10K for 24 months your payment would be 416.70 Zero percent for such a short period is not much of an incentive the payments are very high.. It remains .9% At 48 & 60 Months same as last month

Just heard back about incentives by jason80

The incentives are exactly the same with the exception of a slight change in the fnancing. 0% for 36 months, .9% for 48-60 months.

So for all of us that are skipping the financing incentive, the cash price is still the same. I think I may actually take a closer look at a 2008 TL, I may be able to get more bang for the buck.

I do not see the $4000 incentive being mentioned at the same time the zero % financing is offered to Tier 1 credit rating buyers. Is there any way to get confirmation that both are offered (not one or the other) at the same time?

These "new" incentives, or lack thereof are insulting. 0% for 36 months is not any better than 0.9% for 60 months. They need to offer more cash, especially on the G37. $1000 is crap compared to the other cars. I hope Infiniti sales fall even more in November so maybe they'll give better incentives.

On another note, has anyone here bought, or know someone who has bought a demo? How much discount should one expect on a demo car, and would anyone recommend buying one?

Just talked to the sales manager at my local Infiniti dealership. He said the zero % for 36 months is new and if you need a longer time the .9 % is still available for 48 or 60 months but if you opt for a low percentage loan you lose the $3,000 incentive.
He said that the G35 is their top seller and he thinks this is a great deal as is.

Coincidentally, mosho, I also just got off the phone with the sales consultant at my local Infiniti dealership. He confirmed the incentives for November remain the same as October except for the zero financing for 24 or 36 months. You cannot combine the $4000 cash incentive with the zero % or 0.9% financing.

In short, I will not get a better deal than what I was offered yesterday. I am still waiting for a better deal although the deal itself is not a bad one. Instead of 5 G35x's and many other G35's/G37's remain unsold there is another G35x added to their inventory today. I would be interested to see how much longer Infiniti or this dealership could hold on to the current pricing. How much longer they can hold back on the 2009 G37 cars?

My blind guess would be end of November.

At that point, as is pretty much customary in the car biz, they pay out the $4k incentive to the dealer for each car left in their inventory and the dealer is then "on their own."

Slight correction. As it has been explained to me, the 3000 is tied to the low % rate loan. The 1000 is dealership money that they can use in the deal. Some will give all 1000 to the customer, others may hold some back. I have seen deals posted that were 500 under invoice everything else being the same. I figured their dealer was not willing to give them the full 1000. My dealer, I think, is willing to give the 1000 plus 1 to 200 more. Guess this is part of hold back money from the manufacturer. Rumored to be 1% of MSRP.
