Hi,
I wanted to thank this forum for being very helpful with the lease of my new 2008 G35x from COMPETITION INFINITI, THE BEST DEALERSHIP.
So I wanted to share my deal info with you guys and get a response of what you all think.

ALSO I WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT KINGS INFINITI IN BROOKLYN, NY IS A HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP. I LEFT A DEPOSIT ON A CAR AFTER THE PURCHASE ORDER HAS BEEN SIGNED, THAT THEY SUPPOSEDLY BEAT FOR ME, AND WHEN I CAME IN TO SIGN THE LEASE AND PICK UP THE CAR THEY COMPLETELY CHANGED THE NUMBERS ON ME WITH ME PAYING $34 DOLLARS MORE A MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ARGUED WITH THEM FOR 2 HOURS THEN I REACHED A POINT WHERE I TOLD THAT THEY WILL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYERS, AND THEY WILL BE, AND I STORMED OUT. EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THEM, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIEING SCUM.

I also live in the Houston area and am shopping for an '08 G35 Journey Sedan with the premium package.

Can you tell me which dealer in Houston offered you $29,995?

Thanks in advance!

3 of them. West Houston, Southwest, and Clear Lake. I've somewhat avoided North Houston b/c they have somewhat dark cloud over them and have just decided to not deal with it. Aside from that, I think I'm going to wait til the end of the month to see how they're doing price wise and if they've been selling a lot or not so are willing to go down on the price. Guess I'll find out soon enough.

Let's hope that G35 sales don't do well this month

I am also in Houston and looking for a G35. What is the black cloud that is hanging over North Houston Infiniti? I am also looking to lease one at the end of October.

That is a good price. Can you tell me which state you got this deal at? Did it include destination charges, and was it with the .9 financing?

Thanks

carexpert08:

It looks like you got a phenomenal deal! $1,824 under invoice?? What incentives were applied to your lease? Numbers seem to work for me!

Enjoy your new car!!

hey peekay1:

thanks for the output. There weren't any particular incentives that were used it was what i wanted i told them on the phone and they said they can do that for me. When I got there the price was the same with no extra b/s. let me know if you want the dealers name. I really recommend them, very consumer oriented.

I'm a believer who is waiting for the shake down! by drjustin

Good day,

this is more a message of venting and hope. one not intended to offend anyone.

i've been reading, learning, asking and hunting now(on this board and via phone at respective dealerships in the midwest) for well over 8 months. as someone recently posted, i'm equally not in a hurry to purchase. although, and strictly solely in my opinion, the best time to pick up a G35 will be either Nov or Dec. the stars are aligning setting the stage for a great deal. between the state of the economy coupled with the G 37's release, a shake down is in the works, now it's just time to sit and see what additional incentives Infiniti adds to move this rather large surplus of inventory nationwide.

i also believe(and this is in no way meant to disrespect those who have bought/leased within the last year) with great certainty that the price/resale value for these 35's will substantially drop in the coming year due to the release of the 37's. as such, i postulate purchasing in nov or dec will be the ripest of times. late dec could prove to be the ultimate, or one could get burned if IFS's current initiatives are successful in moving the old inventory in a hurry.

now, for my wish list and potential "best buy." i'm hoping the incentive money ($3,000) will next apply in conjunction with the .9 financing. i'm also hoping they'll take anywhere from 1k to 2k off invoice to move em out. whether this happens or not, that's what i'm shooting for in the coming month, to two months.

say i'm smoking crack? possibly.....one can only speculate, read the economic outlooks and then guesstimate the market demand. in any event, i wish you all the best of luck in your negotiations.

if you get a stellar, out-of-this-world deal, please post it.

thank you, and please stay tuned.

Need some help on determining if I am getting decent deal on 08 G35X with premium & sport package:
MSRP $39,130
Invoice $35,900
15K, 39 Mo lease
Tier 1 credit
Monthly lease payment quoted $475 (incl 6% MI tax)
Due at closing-$1141 (includes $475 1st payment etc)

Could also buy for $34,267 out the door or $652 per mo (no money down).

Appreciate any advise or whether or not good deal. Thanks in advance.
