Assuming 8% tax and 7% interest on the used and 2.9% interest on the new, the 60 month payment is $666 for new and $641 for used. At the end of 5 years you are only saving $1,500. This is assuming you pay sales tax on both the new and used (here in AZ there is no sales tax on used cars from a private party). IMHO, if the used car at $30k is not EXACTLY as you would purchase a brand new one (color, options, condition, etc) then I would pass on the used at that price. You can always offer $28k for the used one... As far as the Acura, I don't think these are even in the same ball game. I would not pay $20k for a used TL. I shopped the new TL and it is lacking a lot of features that are standard on the G35, can't speak for a 2006 TL, but I am pretty sure that the the 06 has less then the 08.

Has Infiniti ever had 0% financing on the G35? Has anybody heard what might be coming for May for either a lease or purchase?

Here's the purchase I'm considering from a dealer in CA (bay area): 2008 G35S Prem/Nav/Sport/Splash Guards/Tr mat/Cargo net Blue Slate/Stone $35,500 plus TTL Is this a good deal? Also, what might I expect in terms of ClearCoat, extended warranties, etc. upon close? Is any of it worthwhile or should I stick with the deal I've got? Thanks in advance for your feedback! |

I am finally ready to start banging out a price on a new G37 sport and wondered if anyone had found a deal in Ohio? I think there are only 4 dealerships- Cincy, Dayton, Columbus, and Cleveland. I am in Dayton and could make it to Indy as well. Sounds like most have been able to purchase a little over invoice price. Thanks for any help. Will

I do not want to approach the Indy dealership yet as I may go through a buying service I have access to through work that deals with our local dealership. I plan on getting internet quotes from Cinci, Dayton and Louisville to use as leverage. I can post what the Dayton dealership offers.
