>> this easton must be a popular guy ... (snip)
he quoted me 31,265 not including tax and tags but from reading your posts that sounds like an awful deal ... how much were you able to get similar cars ... also he offered a 39 month lease at 393 month/5000(which includes tax and everything) (snip)
>>

The price he quoted was really the MSRP for that car (also includes trunk mat) - NOT a good deal. Run through the "Price it with Options" link on Edmunds. You'll find that the Invoice is around $28,264 and the TMV cost is $30,711. Spend some time on the site so you won't get snowed.

Easton is a smooth talker and comes off as being arrogant (to me)...But armed with this forum's knowledge and by doing your due diligence, you should get a better deal, esp. on one that's on the lot. Btw, if it sounds like a bad deal...it probably is.

G35 Sedan bought for $800 over invoice by csmatthews

I just bought a new G35 Sedan at Gunn Infiniti in San Antonio, Texas. Garnet Fire, with Sunroof, and Sport Suspension package. Sticker Price 31,690, got it for 29,450, $800 over invoice. Good sales experience (other than very long wait to get to talk to financial guy). For all you Texas G35 lovers, I would recommend the San Antonio dealership.

Fair Deal? by parker19

G35 sedan/leather/sunroof/winter sport pkg
MSRP 31,705
Invoice $28,698
Offered 30,405

Is this a fair deal and realistically, how much lower could I go? How much of a difference does it make that the car is on the lot? Thanks

Never go to a dealer unprepared. Get offers (by phone or email) from at least three dealers. Go with the best one to the dealer you choose and make him offer a better deal. It takes some time and hassle but it pays off. You should be able to get it for 29k or less in this area. Especially if the car is in stock.

Used G35 Sedan by jjmg35

I'm looking at buying a used G35 sedan (desert platinum w/willow leather) for $25,600. It has the Bose upgrade, sunroof, and winter package (heated seats). The car was placed in service on 3/30/02 and has 8,800 miles. It has a clean carfax and had the oil changed (3,750 & 7,500 miles) at the dealer. I'm curious, is this a good deal??

Got a pretty good price on a: G35 Sedan/Leather automatic with Premium and the winter/sports package. The dealer swapped out the rims (since the tires are the same) but was able to get:

31,415 plus tax/lic etc...

Regular G35 sedan/leather with premium was 30,895.
