I am looking at the AWD G35X with the premium package and navigation (basically fully loaded, except no laser cruise control). Can anyone share prices they paid or were quoted in MD, VA, DC, NC? Any information would be much appreciated.

My question remains. I never trade-in.
So, I don't understand how dealership makes money from my transaction, let alone how the salesperson makes money, when I get the car close to invoice ,then either buy the car for cash with no financing profit for the dealer, or lease at the net interest rate/money factor, without lease markup for the dealer.
Yes, I know about holdbacks, but the cars I'm looking at don't have them, or they don't amount to much.

If it makes you feel bad, then pay them some extra money - otherwise just drop it .

We all know there are hidden incentives, bonuses, tiered quota rewards, etc that dealers get. Their business plan is to make enough to cover expenses and make a profit without selling a new car - and anything they make there is gravy.

I don't understand why you need to understand how the dealer makes money. Do you not purchase anything from the grocery store until you understand their business model? How about Sears, Walmart, etc.? The bottom line for any business is to make a profit. You can rest assured a dealer isn't going to lose money selling you a car, and let it go at that.

I am also looking at a 2008 G35x platinum graphite w/premium pkg, nav, sport pkg sticker $40,575. What would be a good price? Or what have some of you paid for this model?

Look up the invoice online, take off the $500 customer cash and you have a great price. Anything from that number up to invoice for the car, destination, and dealer doc/prep fee would be an acceptable price.

see the post above yours, but you should be able to get straight invoice, incl. destination, MINUS $500, then plus the dealer doc fee. And don't pay one thin dime for the dealer add-on package of tint, door guards, wheel locks, etc., and don't pay the $297 for the ZakTek paint protection. Just tell them you won't pay for those, and to white out the $297 for the ZakTek that they "hard code" on the order form. They'll agree - it's Infiniti's fiscal year-end this months and they have LOTS of cars to move. I was at Infiniti of Scottsdale today looking at EX35 colors and they were unloading a full carrier of new arrivals...to go with a zillion other cars they have on-hand.

Did you mean a left over 2007 or a 2008?

Since you should be able to get a new 08 G for invoice or less with the $500 customer cash, a left over 07 would have to be several thousand under invoice for me to even think about.
