Anyone gotten any good deals in and around Michigan on a G35? I rarely see the car on the streets around here, probably due to the fact that few purchase rear wheel drive cars due to the snowy winters. I'm planning on purchasing one this spring and am hoping dealers in Grand Rapids or the Detroit area will offer me a good deal, but haven't seen anything posted here about prices payed in the area. Seems like considering the low demand in the area that a good deal could probably be found. |

The G35 was not excessively noisy, but about 2 dB over my 90 Q45 per my sound level meter. So did IoM replace the Goodyear tires with the Bridgestones for free? I will have to check out the G35 loaner (they only have one, it is white) and see what tires it has. Were the Goodyears RSA's? Thanks. |

Infiniti of Orland Park, IL. got the best deal in Chicago. I just purchased an Infiniti G35 from Infiniti of Orland Park, IL. I got the best deal among all the Infiniti dealers I talked to. It was the nicest experience I've ever had with any car dealer and I've purchased 3 previous cars before this one. What set's it a part among other Infiniti dealers or any dealer I've dealt with is their willingness to work with you to negotiate the best price. They are not stuck up or think they have to make a minimal profit way up there near MSRP. While most Infiniti dealers talked about how much they are willing to go down from MSRP, Orland Park worked with you at the other direction (above invoice). I got the price I wanted which was really great! and the best thing is we did it over the phone. Once we set the price, I headed down to the dealer and I paid exactly what we agreed on on the phone not a penney more. I highly recommend if you are looking for an Infiniti in Chicago area to contact Infiniti of Orland Park, IL. I wanted to share my experience with those still strugling to find a great deal when this car (G35) is hot on the market. Thanks |

I'm in Oak Lawn, so Orland would be the closest. I've driven past a few times and it seems that they have a bunch there. Did you get a coupe or sedan? how much over invoice did you end up paying? Who did you deal with? any strategic suggestions? Have a QX4 from Fields in Glenview, good experience there too. In 99 they blew out the 2000's below invoice. Obviously wont' be the case here though. thanks |

Yep, replaced 'em for free. GM Tom Simms was very cool about the whole thing. Like I said, the Bridgestones are marginal but a HUGE improvement over the Goodyears. In the next month or two I will likely switch to 235/50/17 or 225/55/17 and put on some Michelins or Yokohamas. |

| Heard the Michelin Pilots were also a very good choice. | |

| Yesterday dealer replaced Goodyears with Bridgestones. Unlike coolpop36, I haven't noticed much defference between the two. It was nice to get brand new clean wheels (I had 600 miles on the car), car wash and a loaner though. | |
| Harte Infiniti in Hartford had a big ad in the NY Times. New 2003 sedan for $25,995. | |

| This is the base model with MSRP of 27,715. It's not hard to buy G35 2,000 below MSRP. | |
