Got to figure out shipping expense but even with that included its cheaper than most local dealers. Just picked up the following:   G35, Ivory Pearl, wheat interior with Sport, Premium, Nav, Aero packages had it shipped and under cut local dealer by a wide margin. Replying to: hummer2 (Jul 08, 2005 4:58 pm) How much did they discount from MSRP?   What are current rates on VPP?   Does anyone know whether these dealers will price just as aggressively on 2006 models at the beginning of 2006 shipments or are these discounts due to it being late in the 2005 model year?   Thanks!

Replying to: csr4 (Jul 06, 2005 7:03 pm) Bought G35x yesterday. Pricing was similar, got same options except satellite package but bought wheel locks. Paid $34,249 ($200 over invoice) and took the 3.99% financing. I agree, few dealer options to choose from here in NYC. But it is a great riding car; clearly a 3-series killer (price and performance). I drove 3 hrs to Boston last Saturday to sign the papers for my 2005 G35 5AT Coupe Lakeshore Slate with premium package, splash guards, and trunk mat. The sticker is $35,880 but I got it for $31,999. The surprising thing was the whole deal was done through the telephone a day earlier. The dealer name is Quirk Infiniti and I saw their advertisement over the internet. You can search 'Quirk Infiniti' and check out their web specials. The only issue I have is I live in Connecticut and I have to register the car here before I can drive the G35 off the dealer's lot. What a bummer!!! I will pick up the car on Tuesday. I'm coming from a 2003 5-speed Mazda Miata, which I traded-in, and a baby carseat forced me to drive a G35 Coupe. The automatic transmission was dearly requested by my wife. All in all, I lost a convertible and a 5-speed to this G35 5AT. Due to these losses my heart doesn't really jump at this car but who knows... I plan to put nice aftermarket 19" wheels later on. Replying to: roca (Jul 10, 2005 8:08 pm) roca,   oddly, i went to that dealer today to look at the tan interior on a black coupe to see if I like that color scheme.   equally odd, i called all the dealers in massachusetts last weekend and none would sale for 500 over invoice. i ended up finding one for near invoice in Connecticut.
