I said I will wait until later this year to make the purchase, but I will make a try this weekend, hopefully taking advantage of the end-of-fiscal-year situation and the low APRs (good through the end of this month). I will show up in one or more Infiniti dealerships, and offer $30,500 (including destination charge) for a 2005 G35x with Sun Roof as the only option. If I have no luck, I then have the right excuse to wait for a few more months. What do you think of this? Will they laugh at me?? Need some encouragement.....

Just wanted to see what everyone thought of this lease offer I have on the table. Is this a good deal? 2005 G35 6MT with following options: Premium Package, Nav, Aero package w/o spoiler, trunk mat 39 month lease, $456/mo. First payment due at time of acquisition. $35042 sale price. Acquisition and TT&L rolled into deal, total cap cost of $35,752, Residual value of $22,188, rent charge of $4205, total monthly payments of $17,769. = $456/mo The dealer did offer a maintenace plan for $625 that included all scheduled maintenance and tire warranty for duration of lease. Anyone have experience with these? Is it worth it? The lease is through Nissan-Infiniti and includes Gap insurance. Anything I am missing? Good deal or not? Room to negotiate? Thanks for your help, Chris |

Replying to: eastwing (Mar 24, 2005 1:51 pm) Also, if you have a 3 or 4 years old trade, your trade will go down as well when the time goes by. Even thought I like to change cars every 3 years or so, I hate car shopping. You need to spend so much time...2 or 3 days to buy a car. So if shop now and decide to wait a couple more months, you need to redo all of your work again...price...negotiation... I live in PA and if I can get a G35 sedan at invoice, I will be happy already. I think it's really tought to get it at invoice not to mention below invoice. One thing that I noticed for the Infiniti dealers around my area is that they don't beg customers to come back. I went to negotiate with 4 dealers when I bought my coup in Jan. The 3 dealers that I did not make the deal, never call and beg me to come back to do/negotiate the deal. Honda, Toyota, and Nissan always call back at least around 10 times... It seems that people who can get a better deals usually live around NY city, LA, or San Francisco.

But right now I am just a little too excited to put the whole thing aside. By offering a low price, I guess I just ask to be turned down and it will give me an "excuse" to wait for a few more months... But if they take it, I will be more than happy to make the deal. |

Has anyone ever dealt with Infinit of Cincinnati? I have been corresponding with their Internet manager online and he seems to be a nice enough and knowledgeable guy. I would just feel more comfortable if somebody on this forum could relate their experiences with this dealer. Thanks! Ernest
