| Congratulations, I think it is excellent price. I got a similar discount on the base 2004 G35 (cloth), except for the dealer incentive, which was $1000 last month, vs. $2000 now. Selling price was 24,996 +2.9% financing. See post 2043 for details. | |

Replying to: jarchdeacon (Feb 14, 2005 8:26 am) 39 month 15k miles per year $1200 total due $431 per month [including NJ tax] I think this is a decent deal. Are there any better deals our there?

That sounds like a really good deal. I have tried to get some lease quotes on the G35 sedan and without the premium package. I didn't get that close. I was in the $450 range for a lesser priced car. I am still looking at getting one but just can't find a deal I want. |

Looking for pricing guidance for last 04 g35x on dealer lot - twilight blue, premium, nav system, wood and trunk mat. Their opening offer was $35,600. From previous posts it sounds like I should offer and they could be willing to take invoice - 2,000 = abt $32,300. Could that be right!?!? I may even be able to subtract holdback (abt $900 more) bringing price down to $31,300. Alternative is waiting a few mths and getting an 05 minus the nav package in a color I really want. Appreciate your feedback.

Replying to: vgrinshpun (Feb 02, 2005 11:20 am) Edmunds did not have 2004 model pricing. Of course, a few days later carsdirect price dropped by $1000. Where did you learn about the other incentives? That is incredible! Congratulations! |

Learned about factory to dealer incentives on this site, this thread. Then verified information on consumerguide.com. Learned about infiniti holdback formula using google search. Interestingly, I also bought my car on January 31. The factory to dealer incentive actually went up on February 1, from $1000 to $2000. So my car potentially could be bought now for $23,996. That combined with 1.9% / 2.9% financing is an excellent opportunity ! |

...You may wish to check out Passport Infiniti. Apparently they have a lot of '04 G35 sedans leftover. They even have one new '04 marked down to 23,888$. It has no options whatsoever. But even as a basic car that's not a bad price. Most of the rest of their remaining '04 inventory is heavily discounted and they are advertising a sale for the rest of the week that leftover '04 models are being sold for 1250$ below invoice. So if you're shopping and in the area you may want to check it out. They have a website. www.passportinfiniti.com I personally would call first if there is a specific model you are interested in to make sure it's available. Most of these dealerships strike me as slow to update their website info. |

Well, I think I am finally going to do it. I have a deal on a 05 6mt with the base package. I have the VPP pricing. I want to lease. Here is the deal. I think it looks pretty good. No options on this car. $31,210 MSRP $28,987 cap cost(purchase price) +$909 fees =$29,958 Net Cap Cost $401/month - 15k year lease for 39 months $401 dollars down. What do you think about this deal? Also, has anybody seen the Lakeshore Slate and Stone interior? If so, what do you think?
