Try subtracting 8.7% of the MSRP from the MSRP to get the invoice.

Don't know about '04's on actual invoice prices but you can always ask to see the actual invoice. Also, just about 3 hours ago, the dealer here called and came back and budged about $1600 on the first offer they gave me on an '05 G35X. Went down $25 on monthly payments and added the sport tuned option and located one not from his lot (at his cost to pick it up). There was only one G35X in the lot. So the demand is there but I truly believe they have room to budge - they sometimes want to make too much out of a deal. That is where you need to be willing to walk away ... As for me still deciding on a BMW X3 or the G35X. Payments and terms will decide.

Good luck

Go to consumerguide.com for 2004 G35 Invoices.
There is infiniti holdback: 1% of Base MSRP + 2 % of Base Invoice. See details how calculations worked-out for me in post #2043. Try not to mention holdback to sales people - drives them crazy. Just do your math and tell them the buying price.

Also, there might be still a $1,000 dealer incentive on 2004 G35 (if it was extended beyond 1/31/05). The accompanying 1.9%/2.9% financing special is still valid - go to infiniti.com (FINANCE-CURRENT OFFERS)

Check out prices on carsdirect.com. They give you the MSRP, Invoice and the price you can get the car for. They have both 2004 and 2005 G35 models.

Their target price is pretty accurate. They show $500 over invoice for 05 G35 sedans.

Like comments in #2051, I had a terrific buying experience from Salerno-Duane Infiniti of Denville, NJ.

I just got a based model 2005 G35X for $30,900. The internet department's offer easily beat the 3 other dealers I contacted.

Dealer incentives for the G35X increased to $2,000 on 2/1/05. They are good through the month. I just visited an Infiniti dealer in Barrington, IL today and learned about the increase.

G35 6MT coupe prices in the Bay Area? by gmobile

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a 6MT coupe with all packages (aero, prem, nav, wood) in the coming months. How are people doing in the Bay Area with prices? Is it possible to do $500 to $1000 over invoice on coupes? Also, I am curious as to why more people opt on taking cars off of the lot instead of ordering a brand new car? I'm pretty sure all of the cars on the lot are available for customer test drives. Thanks for any responses!

Hello, I'm in the market for a USED 2004 G35x. Probably something with 10k miles on it. Can anyone give me any experiences/feedback/prices they paid? Thanks.

You might also post your question here:

You'll find that most of the stories here are about new vehicle purchases, but you might get some feedback.

2005 G35 6MT by billykrebs

If anyone has been following my posts for about 3 months you will see that I have been having a problem picking between a few cars. The G35, TL, S60, and looked at the CTS, even considering waiting for the new 3 series. Anyway I would have picked the G long ago but I had issues with my head grazing the roof of the car.

My thinking now is to get the 2005 G35 6MT but forgo the Premium Pkg. so I don't have a sunroof and I get another 1.5 inches over my head which will make the headroom fine. My concern is that the base without the premium pkg. will leave me with a pretty weak interior. I don't care about the sunroof, but the base stereo concerns me. I have heard that the Bose isn't even that good so the stock must be terrible. I think power seats are standard so that is good. Also, intelligent key is not available on the 6MT if I read correctly.

So, does any one here have the base 6MT or have they sat in one to see if it is to spartan inside? You can probably pick one up for $29k or so I would think?

Also, I really like the TL but I have heard so many bad things about the ride, the vibrations, the seats, and the bluetooth not working. Are these justified or is it just exaggerated?
