Here in Portland, OR they don't like to deal. We have 1 dealer and they do not participate in any of the large buying websites. Anyway - I am down to a 2004 G35 or an Acura TL. Invoice on the 2004 leather is $27,876 plus around 2100 for premium package. Dealer is trying to tell me invoice is $30200 plus premium. He also says there is no holdback from Infiniti. Can someone help me validate this - Edmunds no longer has invoice prices for 2004 I have invoice plus premium at around 29,900

| Has anyone seen the MT's in northern California? Some of the Infiniti dealerships list them as in the inventory but I haven't checked in person or by phone. | |

Also, just about 3 hours ago, the dealer here called and came back and budged about $1600 on the first offer they gave me on an '05 G35X. Went down $25 on monthly payments and added the sport tuned option and located one not from his lot (at his cost to pick it up). There was only one G35X in the lot. So the demand is there but I truly believe they have room to budge - they sometimes want to make too much out of a deal. That is where you need to be willing to walk away ... As for me still deciding on a BMW X3 or the G35X. Payments and terms will decide. Good luck |

Go to consumerguide.com for 2004 G35 Invoices. There is infiniti holdback: 1% of Base MSRP + 2 % of Base Invoice. See details how calculations worked-out for me in post #2043. Try not to mention holdback to sales people - drives them crazy. Just do your math and tell them the buying price. Also, there might be still a $1,000 dealer incentive on 2004 G35 (if it was extended beyond 1/31/05). The accompanying 1.9%/2.9% financing special is still valid - go to infiniti.com (FINANCE-CURRENT OFFERS) |

Replying to: chattea (Feb 04, 2005 6:44 am) I just got a based model 2005 G35X for $30,900. The internet department's offer easily beat the 3 other dealers I contacted. |

| Dealer incentives for the G35X increased to $2,000 on 2/1/05. They are good through the month. I just visited an Infiniti dealer in Barrington, IL today and learned about the increase. | |
| The $2,000 dealer incentives are for the 04 G35 models. | |

Hi everyone, I'm looking to purchase a 6MT coupe with all packages (aero, prem, nav, wood) in the coming months. How are people doing in the Bay Area with prices? Is it possible to do $500 to $1000 over invoice on coupes? Also, I am curious as to why more people opt on taking cars off of the lot instead of ordering a brand new car? I'm pretty sure all of the cars on the lot are available for customer test drives. Thanks for any responses! |
