Hi, Newbie here.   I'm picking up my new lease on g35x this saturday. Here's what I got:   Premium package, Spoiler (not aero) Wood trim Sunroof 6cd bose changer splash/mudguards Spare tire in trunk (whatever that package is called)   Basically all the toys except the Navigation.   42 month lease, 12K miles a year. $420 a month (this is with taxes) $0 down...but i did pay for the first month. Checking just now, the post is still there, but I'll repost and X the original initials I gave. I think I can say this: The Internet Sales Manager's initials are consecutive in, and close to the middle of the alphabet. That's just to try to allow you to determine if it's the same person I corresponded with, without identifying him publicly.   Here's the prior post, (1884) in case it disappears as promised.   Nirvanaor --    We're not supposed to post names of individuals at dealerships.    However, if you go to infiniti.com and do an inquiry from that site, it will go to the Internet Sales Manager, who is the guy I corresponded with. His initials are XX and he works with another fellow whose initials are YY.    You may already be dealing with one or the other of those guys. Remember, though, that there is $1,000 dealer cash on the sedan, which is what I was dealing with. A comparable deal on a coupe, which has no dealer incentive, would be dead invoice. In fact, that might be even a bit better than the deal I was offered, since my perception is that all dealers are a bit tighter on the coupes.    Maybe without knowing it, you're getting as good a deal as I was offered. Depending on where you live, you could try several other dealerships to get a comparison and an idea of whether you're getting a good deal. I feel reasonably knowledgeable about current sedan deals, but not about the coupe. And things change quickly with changing inventory and factory support.

You are right. I am out of luck. Unfortunately there is no Acura dealer in town either. The closest one is 65 miles away right next door to the Infiniti dealer. Acura does offer a loaner car program though for out of town clients.   I am going to look at the TL now and maybe a used 5 series. I am really not a big fan of Cadillacs, so I don't know about that one. It is unfortunate because I was pretty excited about the G35. Replies to this message: george7777 (Dec 17, 2004 12:05 pm)

My last car is a 1995 540i, 6-speed. Engine and transmission are great, but minor other problems. I would like to sell it, but don't know how to contact you outside of this forum. I could deliver it to Roanoke over the holidays.

I'm planning on buying an '05 G35X with the premium package. I contacted two dealers in my area last week and both gave me a price close to $35,000. The offers were assuming I'd take delivery by the end of the year. I never got around to a counter-offer because I since found out I'm eligible for the VPP discount so I decided to wait until January to complete the deal.
