| If by "supplier discount" you mean VPP, then get a 2004 using that. One years less depreciation for a start. | |
|
At what price is it worth getting an 03 vs. using VPP (supplier discount) on an 04? If I can save $2,000 on an 03 vs. an 04 is that worth the extra depreciation? Thank You. |

| get the 04 | |
| definitely get the 04 if possible, it has a some upgrades, like limited slip diff, and tire pres monitor. if you don't care so much about those, your deal on the leftover 03 sounds hard to beat, i think it is below invoice??? | |
| Visited a dealership last night to test drive a G35 (what a car!). I'm in the "evaluation" phase among cars and had not planned on buying until the summer after I had saved some more money. However, this particular dealer had a sedan in Caribbean Blue with willow interior. Apparently, that color is not very popular and he mentioned that it had been on the lot for 3 months! They had written on the windshield "make an offer." Obviously, I think they are starting to lose some money on the residual but I haven't seen any information on how long these cars have typically been on the lots before they're sold. Three months seems like an awefully long time. I'm curious to know what people's thoughts are on how low do you think I can get the price? I don't remember what pkgs. (if any) came on the car but I want to have an idea of what kind of deal I might be able to get so I can determine if it's even worth speaking with the salesman again. Thx. | |

Hi, I'm very interested in the G35 Coupe Diamond Graphite with premium, aero, and sport packages. I want to lease for 48 months, with a $2000 trade. 15K or 18K miles per year. Are there any dealers in the Chicagoland area that people have had a good experience? I'm leaning toward Infiniti of Orland Park. Does anyone have comments on this dealer? Thanks! |

spiveygb - I can't be sure, but I'd say you could probably get it for invoice if it's a RWD (which I'm assuming). If you like the car it can't hurt to throw out a number below invoice and see if the dealer bites. Just be firm and willing to walk away and you'll likely get what you want. Good luck! |

| What type of cash price should I expect to purchase a G35 Coupe with premium, aero, and sport packages? MSRP $36,000. Does purchasing a vehicle with cash make a big difference to dealers? | |

Test drove a coupe in NJ today, dealer seems willing to give me the coupe at 1k over invoice, the invoice prices matches edmunds invoice however they do have the $400 marketing assesement fee, I have heard this is legit is it true? Considering automatic coupe with just premium and possibly nav dealer will honor the 1k over price for any car in stock. Sounds like a decent deal to me - any thoughts? |

| Cash v. financing shouldn't make much of a difference. If anything, the dealership may prefer you to finance, as they sometimes get kickbacks from the banks. You can always make sure there's no pre-payment penalty and simply pay the loan in full after 1 month. | |
