From San Diego, I received a quote for a 2012 G37 Journey w/ Prem pkg, Silver w/ Blk int. for $33,500 and $36,500 OTD. Is this price at the $2k below invoice w/o financing? i can get .79% for 60 months from Navy Fed CU.

I got quoted $37,035 + $499 Doc fee + Tax/Title/Reg for the following:
2011 G37x + Premiun package + Navigation + illuminated kickplates +trunk mat/cargo net/first aid kit + splash Guard
Is this deal any good? I hoping for less than this. I have not started negotiating.
I will have to drive 3 hrs. I was looking for 2011 instead for 2012 hoping to get a better deal.

My first inquiry, but have been reading and learning from this board for the past six weeks.
I'm ready to pull the trigger, but because of the distance to the dealer, the contract was mailed to me, so before I sign and return it, I would like the moderators and members input.
Here's the deal:
2012 G37x -
msrp $41,405
cap cost $34,787 (includes VPP-C "dealer invoice" pricing)
gross cap cost $35,487
Premium pkg
illuminated kick plates
first aid kit/trunk carpet/trunk net
24 month lease
12,000 miles per year
$359 per month
$746 at inception
Thanks!

I'm considering leasing or buying a 2012 G37 Coupe. I have a 2006 G35 Coupe now. Anybody have any advice for me before I hit the dealership?

Do your homework, obviously! Check the weekend big city newspapers for the best deals. The real papers not the Online edition. At least here in California anything they advertise has to be legit. That may not be the case in other areas. If you want the best deal you may have to travel a distance. I've gone to the bay area and la to get the best deals...about 3 hrs away. I bought a g37 coupe in 08 for 8 grand off and recently a 370z roadster also 8 grand off through the newspaper ads. Or the dealership website. Look for dealers that display their ads on their website. If you are in the Midwest another dealer is fields Infiniti with 2 lots in the Chicago area. They sometimes post good deals on their websites. You may find other deals if you poke around in the papers and on dealer websites. Good luck!

Through TRUECar, I got an offer of $2,102 off of invoice on any G37 Sedan of my choice. Sounds good. Please advise. Thanks
