Took my car in to have the A/C compressor replaced with a new one that they ordered from Los Angeles. They replaced the compressor and the noise was just the same. They then took a compressor from a new car on their lot that they knew was ok and that didn’t work either. They checked three others and they were all ok. They thought it might be the pulley and replaced that. No workee! They had 4 mechanics working on it and finally gave up. Our car is now living at the dealers waiting for an expert from Los Angeles to look at it. Spoke with customer service and she said there had been no complaints about this. Probably all the compressors are ok but it is something else. What can it be? Paul El Cajon, CA |

| I have one too. Anyone know if Infiniti has put a bulletin out on this yet? So far, this is my only problem. 450 miles so far. First tank -18.2 MPG, 50/50 highway/city. Driving her like grandpa until 1000 mi. | |

I got mine fixed and it has not bothered me again. My fix is posted on fresh allow follow link: http://forums.freshalloy.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=25&t=001023&p= |

Talked to Tom the service manager at Discovery Infiniti in San Diego on Monday. He said the fix is the fan amplifier which is located in the dash and controls the compressor. He said the fix should come through in about three weeks which can't be too soon as I hate the noise which gets loud at times and not as loud at other times. To those with the problem it may be wise to contact your dealer and get on the list for updates. Paul |

Just talked to the service manager and he told me that so far there is no fix and they will work on it but it will be a while. He said that the fan amplifier fix is only a partial fix and much work remains to be done. At this point it's still up in the air. I am not happy! Paul |

tlrhlr- I emailed Infiniti about my seatbelt "clicking" noise and their reply was to just take it into the dealer. I guess if enough people complain about it then maybe they'll send out a recall bulletin. I would suggest anyone with problems to contact infiniti's customer service located on their website so that they'll be aware. |

| Bought G35 two wks ago. The left side of the mirror image was distorted. Looked like objects were moving. Had it replaced. Now the distortion is at the left upper corner and across the top. Anyone else having side view mirror problem? | |
| The Passenger side REAR fender well has four holes behind the tire. The service tech did not know what the holes are for or why it is there or where it goes. However, if water should get into the holes which is very likely because it is behind the tire, it may create rust in the future. The Driver side REAR fender well does not have any holes behind the tire. The service tech put plastic plugs in the hole which may or may not prevent water intrusion. Infiniti should have a recall as all G35 have the holes and it should be fixed. | |
| The fancy/heavy silver and gold Infiniti Emblem for the key chain has rubbed the paint off of the finish trim plate that surrounds the ignition switch in my G 35. You may want to consider removing it from your key chain. I have discussed this with the local Infiniti dealer, but they are unsure if they will do anything about it. Regional rep here this next week and will let me know. At least I didn't get the laugh I would have gotten out of the Ford dealer service center where I had purchased my last 3 explorers 1 F150 and 1Expedition. | |
