Hi Andrew,
I just came across your post and wanted to contact you. My friend Lisa has had this car for a few months, and experienced a major problem with sudden acceleration last night. She is going to need some body work to fix the damage. I'm helping her do some research on this to see if anyone else has experienced it. If you read this post, please e-mail me at krystin_70 yahoo.com. Anyone else who has experienced this, please contact me as well.
Thanks.

I have a 2006 G35 sedan and having trouble with the front windows rolling down and doors locking with my keys in the car. I also have trouble with windows rolling down once I lock the car. Alarm will sound if anyone attempts to open the door without the remote. Any ideas???? I was told it was probably a bad remote sensor...

Unless you lock your car w/ the key then you might be able to use the key to unclock the car w/o waking up the alarm. If you lock your car w/ the remote, I just don't see how you can unlock the car w/ the key ONLY.

I have an '07 auto sedan and I have to agree about the jerkiness. I wouldn't go as far as saying the brakes are being pumped, but whatever it is, it is noticeable.

Has anyone purchased a 2006 G35 without the Bose stereo system. I am very unhappy with this system. Any suggestions.

I have a 2006 6MT sedan with the base stereo. Can you be more specific about your concerns. Maybe I or others can shed some light. I have a few things I am not happy about either, but again, I did select the base system rather than the Bose one.

I'm not sure if the '06 models had the audio adjustment problem, but '04 (and '05 I think) would "forget" the base and treble settings with each restart. The display will say +5, but it wouldn't sound like +5 until you took it down to +3 and then back up to +5 each time you start the car.
My 2003.5 Bose doesn't have the problem, but newer non-Bose loaners I've gotten definitely had the problem. FM radio would sound like crap whenever I restarted the car. HTH

Any recommendations on how to solve the problem? Bose and the dealer have been totally worthless. Thanks.

Brought the car back for a third time and they found the right front tire was defective, so they balanced and replaced it. It still bucked at 38-39mph. Brought it back a fourth time. Took the tech for a ride and he acknowledged the bucking at 38mph. The service manager later took it for a ride and claimed "they all do that" and no work was performed. I've been getting loaner cars each time from them and it has been an 2006 Infiniti G35x and no such bucking or lurching effect is noticable. We are going the lemon law route now and I am disgusted with the incompetence and ignorance of the service people at Infiniti of Norwood, MA. I encourage anyone thinking of buying a car there to go to another dealer. By the way, now I can smell a burning rubber odor when I stop the car. What an awful car this has turned out to be.

I vaguely remember dealers trying to swap out headunits, but I don't think anyone had much success. Most people just re-adjust the bass and treble each time, or installed an aftermarket headunit.
Did adjusting the bass and treble help?
