A while back there was a discussion about the tire pressure monitors and if the warning light would be triggered if you used aftermarket wheels without the pressure monitors installed. Experience varied. Now I know. The light is triggered after a few miles. In the 06 Coupe, the low tire pressure light blinks for a while and then turns solid. The good news is that it is the same color as the instrument lights and sits off to the left out of the way. Because of this it blends in and can be ignored. So….the warning light does come on but it’s a non-event. Roll

Replying to: rollbar (May 29, 2006 8:14 am) I have tried every manner of star, #, space, pause and even speed dial and yet can’t seem to get it. The pause is critical to getting into voice mail and through switchboards for me as I am sure it is for everyone. Any idea of how to get it done? I’m using the Verizon version of the Razor which I believe is different than the Cingular. When I say the word space or pause the Infiniti system sees it as the number of the key of the first letter in the word. I even moved the numbers requiring a pause to my speed dial group but that doesn’t work either. For some reason all this does is get me a Verizon recording about reaching a wrong number. Help……… Thanks, Roll |

Replying to: rollbar (May 31, 2006 11:23 am) For g35 owners, also note that although we have a full size wheel and tire as a spare, that wheel doesn't have a sensor in it. One of my wheels got scuffed very lightly (thanks to my wife Ted. |

I have an '05 G sedan with the keyless entry system, which can also be used to open the trunk. Sometimes when I shut the trunk lid, it pops back open and emits a warning beep that does not stop until I unlock the front door. Apparently it thinks my key transponder is inside the trunk. Of course this doesn't happen when I take it to the dealership. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks!

Replying to: thrillcall (May 17, 2006 7:56 am) Who is that dealer? Wish I bought my car there. I had my brake pads changed at 11,900 miles and later one of the service managers said the pads are made to last 12,000 miles. When I took it in at 15,000 miles, they said on my next visit (18,600 miles) I would need new pads and rotors. I can't wait to ask them what happened to the pads that last 12,000 miles. I think that early 2005's still have the same problem the 03's & 04's had but Infiniti isn't admitting it. They only admitted to the problem with the 03's & 04's after a class action law suit was filed.
