| We have cingular and use a Razor with our 06 G35 sedan. Works fine. The voice quality from the car to the recipient is not that great. Sounds very tinny. The quality into the car is fine. | |
I took my car to my local mechanic and he said I needed new front brake pads when the car hit 19k miles. I didn't think much of it since he said this is within the range of normal wear and tear. However, based on the postings on here, I thought it might be covered under the warranty. I spoke to the Infiniti Consumer Affairs representative. She said that the warranty was valid for '03 and '04 models for specific VIN's. '05 models are not covered at all.

Replying to: neptungrll (May 01, 2006 5:01 pm) To start with I have been a state licensed master mechanic, aircraft mechanic, and saleried engineering technician for G.M. for the last 22 years.I have seen your problem before on other cars including my own.The problem is caused by a high frequency vibration between the pads and rotors.Yes the grease does help short term, but on my own car a permanent fix was to clean pads and pistons then apply silicon to piston contact points (1/8" thick) allowing this to become tacky and then reassemble. I hope this solves your problem, it fixed mine. Don

Can automatic door lock be coded to "on" by the consumer? By the shop? What about having the wheel rotate up out of the way when the ignition is turned off and the drivers door opened? Any other options that the consumer or shop can turn off or on? Thanks, Roll |

Question regarding my 2003 G35... It has about 38000 miles, the front brakes and rotors have been replaced twice along with the rear break pads. This will make the second time, I have needed to replace the right rear tire, because it is bald. I spoke to a gentlemen over at America's Tires, and he recommended I buy 4 new tires that are all the same size, so I can rotate them. Is this okay to do? Please advise |
