Replying to: black87iroc (Oct 22, 2006 4:06 pm) sounds like it is your wheelbearing, should also get louder the faster you drive. Usually has a humming sound can progress to a roaring sound and will go away if you turn one direction.Sometimes tires with an alignment problem can make similar sound, but the noise will be the same no matter which way you turn.

I am buying a used car I found on the internet from a private seller in Virginia and I live in Idaho. I will fly there and drive back to Idaho. How do I get A temporary transit tag for it since it is not bought from a dealer? Do I need to get some kind of bill of sale from seller as well as title signed over to me and get it notorized? Will my current insurance on old car cover me until I register in my state? I have an awefull rattle coming from the driverside rear door floor. It sounds like coin in a plastic cup when at cruising speeds, it is a intermitant noise and does go away when accelerating or decelerating.(thought it was the Roll-over valve __not so much__) So my next guess is the fuel pump.
