S2000 Problems starting by rls2000
Jan 23, 2006 (8:41 am)
I purchased an Honda S2000 in July 2004. On occasion I have had problems starting the car, and recently have had occasions where I cannot start the car for up to 40 minutes. It has the push button start; I am pushing the clutch in, turning the key to 2nd position, and pushing the start button.....sometimes it starts and sometimes it does not. The engine is trying to turn over; the Honda mechanic on Friday, 1/20/06, told me he could not tell what was wroung, unless the car did not start up! Can't he put it on a machine to tell what is causing this problem? Any other S2000 owners out there experiencing this problem? Rhonda in Atlanta

FUEL PINGING 2005 BOXSTER by jbg31792
Jan 23, 2006 (2:58 pm)
i'VE HAD MY NEW BOXSTER SINCE MAY 2005 AND HAVE PUT ABOUT 11,500 MILES ON IT. I'VE BEEN USING BP 93 OCTANE FUEL FOR 7 MONTHS, JUST SWITCHED TO 93 OCTANE CHEVRON ON ADVICE FROM DEALER. STILL HEARING PINGING.
DEALER CHECKED KNOCK SENSORS AND SAID EVERYTHING WAS OK. BUT, IT'S STILL PINGING.
ANYBODY GOT AN IDEA WHAT MIGHT BE CAUSING THE PINGING, AND SHOULD I IGNORE IT AND JUST KEEP DRIVING? THANKS

Try the All Things Porsche discussion.

People tend to ignore posts in ALL CAPS since they are hard to read, btw.

My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a Lemon!!! by ashlea
Jan 23, 2006 (5:04 pm)
I have contacted Diamler Chrysler concerning my 05 JGC as being a lemon and they have yet to contact me. By AR state law they have 10 days to contact me. But, Diamler Chrysler has failed to do so. BY law I have a right to ask for a refund or a replacement. Has anyone had to deal with this type of problem and if so how was it handled. Oh yeah, my problem is that my jeep will not start. My electrical system has been updated, a new battery and then they say nothing is wrong with it. Has anyone else had the same problem ?

Try asking in the Jeep Grand Cherokee: Problems & Solutions discussion. Someone in the Any Questions for a Car Dealer? discussion may have suggestions too.

2003 Venture Van - All Wheel Dirve Problems by baitken
Jan 24, 2006 (10:58 am)
My all wheel drive as well as the ABS go off when the road is wet. The mechanic has replaced the wheel bearings on 3 of the 4 wheels as he has said the fault is a short in the sensor in the wheel bearing. Is anyone having this problem and do you have any suggestions for possible solutions?
