Hi, just bought a 04' G35 coupe AT, some questions that I likely could find in this thread, but would take days -what appears to be a tire warning gauge has been lit up ever since I bought the car last month, it looks like the omega sign, low tires? traction warning? -I read that the body on the g35 isnt so good, should i be protecting from rust? -all the functions on the rear view mirror, i know one set of buttons are for garage door openers, anyone know if these are hard to program, what are the other functions for? -any recommendations/advice from the winter drivers out there?

I suggest taking care of the finish. Clay and wax... just keep it protected and you'll be fine. I work with a guy here who has an 03 Coupe (Black) and it still looks great. The rearview mirror has homelink buttons on it. It's fairly easy to set it up. Follow the instructions in the manual for programming it. I have an 07 so the minor details may be slightly different. Basically, you program the mirror using your door opener remote. You then put the opener into learn mode and hit the button on the mirror... the instructions are in the manual. If you need, I can post the instructions from the 07 manual. Not sure if it would help or not. Winter drivers have 2 options with a Coupe... 1) Winter Tires and some caution. 2) Garage My friend at work has a Toyota Tacoma and garages his in the winter. No matter WHO tells you different, they are tough in the snow. Ping back if you have more questions, or need help with the Homelink. |

I just purchased a 2008 G37 Coupe and love it so far. As I figure out all the gadgets I had a few questions on the use of the phonebook. 1. How do you delete and/or modify a phone book entry? If I click on an existing entry, it immediately dials the number. 2. How do you add a voicetag to an existing phonebook entry. I didn't add a voicetag when I first loaded some of the entries into the phonebook. 3. How do you enter a "pause" in a phone number? I would like to include my work voicemail and password but I need to enter a pause between dialing the phone number to retrieve vmails and entering my credentials. Thanks for any help. -Larry

Replying to: lrcasey (Mar 24, 2008 9:39 pm) Congrats on the new car and welcome to the forum. That's a good looking car. In fact, I just bought a set of G37 wheels for my G35x. I believe all of these can be done through the settings -> phone section. Once there, you can add or edit voicetags and modify phonebook entries. I believe there is a way to add pauses to phone numbers as well, but I'd have to get out to the car and play around to be sure. |

hi I have a 2006, red coupe. It has roughly 35k miles on it. It also has severe paint chip damage all over the car. Has anyone else had that problem, or any suggestions. Thanks. |
