It played just a few nights ago. TNT or some other cable channel.The Plymouth is great.
But the beautiful girl!!!!!!!
I looked at the credits. Named something like Alexandra Paul. Whatever happened to her???
Does someone know of any other movie of hers?

Bolivar, check out this link... http://us.imdb.com/Name?Paul,+AlexandraIt lists the movies and tv shows she's appeared in, and also has some photos. I can't imagine how much they had to cut out of the movie to show it on tv. I remember when it first came out in the theaters, it must have set a new record for the amount of curse words!

She certainly has been in some blockbusters I thought her performance as the flight attendant in Danger on Flight 534 was riveting, or maybe it was the wing of the plane that was riveting, I'm not sure.

Remember that one. Paul LeMat drove a sharp 69 Z28. Besides "American Graffitti" and "More American Graffitti" that's the only movie I remember him doing.A whole 'nother genre would be the '60s surf movies. There were always a couple of customs that showed up. Probably kept Barris, Tommy Ivo and Dean Jeffries in business.

Alexandra Paul was Lt. Stephanie Holden on Baywatch....MY favorite car show of all time! I mean how much more can you get than those cool Ford Rangers, with their big beautiful bulging headlights and their tight fitting little covers over their shapely rears.....oh, 'scuse me.... I forgot what I was talking about for a minute!I love the Elvis racing flicks....lots of classic racers in the background. Obviously Elvis missed out on a opportunity in a racing career--I mean he always came from the back to the front in some thrown-together-at-the-last-minute entry that he just drove the wheels off to win!
Have you seen the new Ford commercial with Bill(?) Ford talking about the impact of seeing Bullitt for the first time? Cool! I hope he really feels that way!
I'm surprised no one's mentioned Days of Thunder (wanna talk realism here?). It's a hoot! But my all time favorite has to be Burt Reynolds in.....White Lightning! He drives a '71 or '72 Ford SEEdan (as Ned Beatty pronounces it) with a 429, 2 4V, and a 4 speed ( you can see the shifter sticking up out of the floor in one scene). Bootlegging at it's best since Thunder Road! I distinctly remember the night I saw that at the theatre. Went out to the parking lot and turned the breather lid upside down on Mom's 1969 Marquis (429-4V) and let it howl all the way home! Gotta add that one to the list, along with Bullitt, LeMans, Days of Thunder, and the original Gone in 60 Seconds....

for the link.Yep, looks like I've missed all of Alexandra Paul's other 'blockbuster' movies.
I'll have to ask my wife how many pairs of shoes she would have to buy to let me start looking at Baywatch re-runs. Tell her it's Ranger research or some such story.

Not many people remember the 1976 comedy-action movie 'Cannonball',not the Cannonball Run.It starred David Carradine and Veronica Hamel in the California to New York race.Particulary funny was Gerrit Graham as a country-western singer broadcasting over the radio from the back seat of a dodge charger in the race.There were cameos by Sly Stallone(mere months before Rocky would make him a superstar),Roger Corman,and Martin Scorcese.This movie still makes me laugh today when I see it.But probably the best car chase scenes I've ever seen are in the movie 'Ronin'.I didn't care much for the movie(what the heck was in that briefcase anyway?),but the two car chases were simply awesome.Advertisement
