Bob: would it have to have more than one propellor? -juice |

if it's a jet ski-type of vehicle. Bob |

But it would have to have all-jet-drive, maybe quad jets, two front and two rear? The better jet boats have twin engines and two jets now, I believe. -juice |

So, has anyone happened upon http://www.bmwfilms.com? There's an article in the latest Automobile mag about it. BMW figures rather than just getting a mere 30 seconds of your attention in a 'normal' tv commercial, they get at least 7 minutes of your undivided attention with their mini-movies.
Will this lead to any of us pulling a 'Colin'? -Brian |

Ken, Hang tight dude. As a resident of Kansas, I know exactly what 70MPH wind feels like. Brian-- please ADD a BMW to your stable without subtracting a Subaru. you pick which one is mundane transportation and which is for fun... -Colin |

I think they are great. Short flicks that show off their cars but not in a gratuitous way. The cars are key to the plot as transportation but they are not discussed and often get seriously abused. It's an expensive ad campaign and it hasn't change my view of BMW cars. Nice, upscale but I don't drool over them. (Ferrari peaks my interests) So I guess I like the films for the action and the short films themselves, not for the cars specifically. I feel 'Superstar' is the most entertaining. 'Chosen' is deep and is meant to make you think. Both are from last years series. Fun for the broadband connected folks. 100mg+ for each movie. -michael |

G'day You could try looking at the short movies for the Forester on the Subaru of Japan website. I think Ken was the one who pointed out the movies. Rather funny, particulalry the on set in the US desert somewhere (Roswell scenes etc.) Can't find the link now Cheers Graham |
