Replying to: lucien2 (Oct 31, 2009 5:32 am)  Fortunately as Benz’s go, the GLK is pretty reasonably priced and we were able to get a great deal. Plus, MB-USA was offering 1.9% financing AND making the first two monthly payments which equated to an effective interest rate of negative 1.8%. At 4,200 lbs, the GLK is built like a tank but can still hustle 0-60 in 6.5 secs. Of course the downside of moving that much mass that fast is a not-to-be-bragged-about mpg rating (est 18 mpg combined)  As you would expect in a Benz, the GLK has comfort, safety and convenience all in spades. There are too many bells and whistles to name but the “panoramic sunroof” is definitely a nice feature. Unfortunately, other than bringing it home from the dealer, I've yet to drive it. But that's okay; the F-XT has now reverted to being my daily driver so I'm not complaining. -Frank

Ram was announced as it's own brand a couple of weeks ago and I could see it adding Fiat work vans to replace the current Sprinter. Most interesting is that Viper may come back with some Ferrari bits hidden inside. |

European vehicles can tow ~ 1600 pounds without trailer brakes. If you feel up to it, check your owner's manual. ...And you just knew I'd be asking you thiat question! BTW, I've got our Forester hooked up to my 5 x 8 trailer—loaded with leaves—and ready to head to the county landfill in the morning. Probably 4 or 5 trips tomorrow, with load 1 ready to go... Bob
