Hi, I bought a 2005 Corolla S with all the options, I'm talking ALL the options last year in Eugene, Oregon for 16900 (after the 400 college rebate). Options included: All weathe rguard, 6 disc changer, ABS brakes, Sunroof/sideairbags package, extra value package 1 (alloys, power windows, cruise, spoiler, keyless entry), carpet floor mats/cargo mat, VIP plus security system and some silly Door sill enhacements and a chrome shift knob. I accepted those (and the security system) because they said it was the only one in the region with the ABS and side curtain (which I wanted). ANYWAYS. So, now, 13 months later some stupid kid rearends me into a SUV and the insurance company has totalled my car. GRRRR. So in the market again. Any idea what people are paying for them loaded like this now? 2006s? Pacific Northwest area? I looked for used ones within 250 miles of me but NO S models have the ABS and side curtain airbags (so I guess they weren't lying that mine was the only one...I had to wait for it from the factory!) |

I paid 13,588.00 (out-of-door) at Claremont Toyota, California on June 15, 2005 which includes the following: 1. Auto 2. Air 3. Floor mat 4. Life time oil change 5. 3 days 2 nights cruise Love this car. With air on I got 32-34 miles per gallon.

| I recently bought a Corolla and had every trick thrown at me. Bait and switch, false disclosure of fees, lack of availability. The dealer even had the wrong amount computed for tax (of course too high). Make sure to bring a calculator with you when you buy! | |

Replying to: baltychen (Aug 28, 2005 1:33 am) As of today, for the same area (Claremont, CA), CarsDirect.com lists the price for $13,216, which includes $540 for destination but no options. To match your setup I would have to add: $740 for auto $55 for floor mats $1300 approx. for tax, title, and lic. Total = $15,300 I'd be happy to pay what you paid even without the lifetime oil change and cruise bonus. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Replying to: human (Aug 29, 2005 3:13 pm) Out of door meant I hand them a check and drive the car home. The sales department I purchased the car was from Asian Sales Dpt. Good luck. |
