First of all, thank you guys for being so
honest about your experiences!

Secondly I am graduating college and decided
to get a Corolla, but the cheapest I found in MN is

CE AUTO, (nothing else) is 144xx
LE AUTO, (nothing else) is 153xx

Not to mension sales tax is 6.5%

Who can think of a moon roof when things are that
expensive

Anyone near by got a better deal?

Was just on the toyota.com website. I realize now that the $500 is not offered in RI or MA, but it is offered in CT. The promo on Corollas for RI/MA is 4.90%. It's strange how these offers work, but since we are only about 90 miles away from CT we are considering doing business with a dealership there. Thanks for posting!

If you can not get the price in CT, come all the way to NYC. I think you should be able to get it for $15100 plus tax and title.

You are still paying RI tax, not NY tax.

Anyone bought a new 2006 Corolla LE auto with VV option in Northern California (Bay Area)? The lowest dealer price quote was around ($15200+ tax+licensing fees+ doc fees.) Can anyone tell if this is a good deal? Did anyone recently purchase a Corolla in the Bay Area? Anyone has any idea if there would be Independence Day specials for the 4th of July?

Northern CA prices are high but 1.9 financing is good by dkdriver

I called/emailed over 15 dealerships to get a corolla S with anti-lock breaks, side impact airbags, auto everything, with appearance packages/spoiler etc.. Went 2,000 under MSRP, which brought it to $16,500 with 0 down and 1.9% for 36 months. Only 3 of the 15 dealerships said they would do this, but only one had a vehicle in stock. Gilroy Toyota absolutely the best of the bunch. Financing ends July 5, though salesman said it might be extended. If anyone is looking for a S with the brakes/bags in northern CA, they are hard to find and hard to deal on. Good luck!!
