Just bought on eBay an Injen Cold Air Intake for my 2007 Element. Can't wait to get! Does anyone else have this on there Element? |

Just got back from the Honda Garage took 3 hours for them to put on the Leather steering wheel cover and driver side armrest with storage! I couldn't believe it. They told me it would only take 1 1/2 hours. Any how I love the feel of the wheel cover. It looks really nice till you look real close at the stitching in certain spots, then it looks not as nice. The new armrest is great! It is so much bigger and can hold all my little things in the car and keeps them well organized. The only complaint about the armrest is is that it restricts access to the cupholders an e-brake. Besides that I love it! My Element's interior is starting to look a little better now.

Replying to: ragets (Nov 03, 2009 9:33 am) I swear they're better than OE. I had it on my 91 Escort, which was totalled in 1998. I actually removed it and put it on my 98 Forester. Kept that until 2007. So basically it lasted 16 years, and still looked new when I sold my Forester (the buyer liked it and wouldn't let me take it off!).

Replying to: ragets (Nov 05, 2009 5:47 pm) That's actually pretty cool. Is it custom/fitted?

Replying to: ateixeira (Nov 05, 2009 6:23 pm) This is where I bought it from: link title And since it is from Honda it is custom fitted. It is quite nice. I don't think is selling them any more for the 09-10 years. I went on there site to get you a link but it is no longer on there. |

| I'm thinking I'm not going to get the lift now for my Element. I just seen that the Ford SVT Raptor is coming out with a super crew cab. So I think I may buy that in a couple years instead. I would have a major offroading advantage in that and I really like it. I love my Element but I think the SVT Raptor is just plain sweet! | |
| So I just got my car back again from the shop yesterday, finally got my cold air intake on and got the rest of the problems fixed that they forgot to do. So they also had to fix the plastic front fender around the headlights because there were gaps around them. Well they brought my car to me last night and I took a flashlight out and seen they fixed it pretty well but still there is still about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch gap in some spots around the headlight. Here's my thing: I'm thinking that it may just not fit up correctly because of the impact with the deer, but When it rains/snows or when I wash my car, isn't that going to cause a problem? I mean water is gonna be able to get in there rather easily I would think. Any one have any suggestions of something I may be able to do? I don't know if the shop did everything they could to get it lined up or not, i'm going to see if they'll be able to get it better on Monday, but if not is there any suggestions of something I can do? Thanks. | |
