I have been researching a purchase of a 2006 Baja and have looked at several of them on dealers lots. I noted that some of them have a "whip" antenna above the drivers door while others have a stubby rubber antenna center/rear of the roof.   Can anyone explain why the same model-year would have 2 different antenna locaitons?   Are there other less-visible differences with the 2006 model-year? Replying to: bpeebles (Mar 30, 2009 6:09 pm) I found an answer to my own question...   The whip antenna above drivers-door is on model with normally-asperated engine.   The stubby rubber antenna center/rear of the roof signifies turbocharged engine.
