Replying to: devie (Oct 20, 2009 1:41 pm) Not a very technical answer, but the technician at the dealership told me (after I paid $75 for them to tell me my gas cap wasn't on tight enough!) that once that light is tripped for that reason, it sometimes takes two fill ups for it to go out. That doesn't help much if there's something really wrong with the car though.

Replying to: devie (Oct 20, 2009 1:41 pm) I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. Mine went away after driving for a couple of hundred miles, so the dealer could not diagnose (read the code) the problem. If the light is still showing up, I suggest you find a local mechanic who might read the code free for you. The 2003 Pilots have "ERG valve" problems, and the factory has extended the warranty to, I believe, 8 years or 80,000 miles. Good luck!!
