Replying to: renew2 (Oct 09, 2009 11:11 am) I bought a car from Sterling Mccall back in 2004. Just dig up the paper work to see what all the fees were and here are what I found. I think I got ripped off back then with some of these fees. Try to be smarter this time. MSRP $30,178 Selling Price $27,614 DPA (don't know what this "fee" is, and it seems like I could never get a straight answer) $385 State Sales Tax $1,750 Vehicle Inventory Tax $69 License, Title, County Rd & Bridge Fee, Full Service Deputy Fee, State Inspection $132 Documentary Fee $50

Replying to: lonestar4 (Oct 10, 2009 4:19 pm) I just found out this DPA fee (Dealer Prep Charge). It's a scam and I'm one of the victims. Several complains on the net, but this one shows details of the scam. The website is no longer available, but you can view the catch. I guess I'll buy my SE elsewhere. Don't want to give these people more business. http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache:r6pwwCfZMKAJ:www.group1autofraud.com/consum- er/consumer-buyers-orders-with-385-fee-page-4.html+385+Fee+Consumer+Scheme&cd=1&- hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us |

| Just bought a 2010 Camry LE AT with the Sat radio/Bluetooth package and the extra value package (alloy wheels). Paid 21625+TTL and 0.0% finance. It's little late but hope I didn't over pay for the car. | |

Replying to: tomken (Oct 14, 2009 12:16 pm) #3 Vehicle Shield.... sounds like a dealer add-on - not worth it. Of the two, the second one is better ($22,500), in my opinion. |

Interested in special leasing deal from gulf state toyota. the deal is 179/month for 36 months 12k miles for year with 2100 due at signing. My questions is this a good deal? When I asked a dealership here in texas for the deal, he tells me that I need to bring in 3.1k for the deal. Another told me 4.3k. These are the same base camry without add on. I have asked them to forward me the print out detailing the numbers but none has done so. In addition to first months lease, are there any addition fee that I should expect when leasing? Thank you all in advance. |
