I saw both Fremont and Capitol Toyota have ad saying $20k for V6 LE. Almost all dealers post $18+K for the V4 LE. As for XLE and SE, go with the ad for $4k off MRSP.

Best Price Camry Hybrid with ESC by dealsearcher1

I am looking to buy a Camry Hybrid with ESC and wonder where I can buy it for the best price. I see from the entry below that some are getting the LE version for a good price (quote was from Oct 25 2008):

"What's OTD? I was negotiating for a 2009 camry se today and the dealers said they would sell the LE for $18,500 but I think you might be able to get it for $18,000. Check Toyota nashua and Norwood.
Has anyone from Boston get a 2009 Camry SE lately? How much did you pay for it?"

Has anyone bought the combination Camry + Hybrid + ESC and if so, what was paid for it? Or otherwise, what are the typical mark-ups from say the LE for the Hybrid or for the ESC (which apparantly is no statndard yet in the US).

Thanks,

Base 2009 LE I-4's, are advertised daily in the newspaper now for 17,388 in Raleigh.

I'm sure they'll tack on admin fee, and then of course the tax/title/dmv'.

I picked up my Camry Hybrid about 2 weeks ago at Fitzmall. They have a bunch in-stock and are going for $0 to $200 over invoice. Traveled from Texas to get the deal. It was well-worthwile for the price difference from the Gulf States prices here.

Salesman picked me up at the airport. No "change in the deal" once I got there. I was in the dealership and drivin' my way back to Texas in about 90 Minutes.

Great Service!!!

Go to www.fitzmall.com . All of their cars are posted there, along with Invoice and their price. They are a "no-haggle" dealer. What you see on the web is their price. However, their prices seem to go up and down frequently based on supply/demand.

I got mine at a price similar to what you see listed. I belive it was $157 over invoice. Since then, they went up about $2000 and have then come back down. If you don't see what you want or the price is high at the time, check back in a few days.

I belive that most dealers get a new allocation of vehicles every 2 weeks or-so.

Bought my Hybrid from Fitz Mall last year-Oct- and had the same experience. Handled the initial details on line- wanted a specific color and had to wait about one month for that. But cost was at least $1500 less than anything in North Carolina. When the car arrived at Fitz I made plane reservations and flew up to Washington National airport took the redline metro out to Maryland and a taxi from the end of the line to Fitz Mall. They even paid for the taxi. Picked it up on a Sat- a very busy day but no hassles- standard stuff they asked if I wanted extra or guarantee, etc. when declined then concluded paperwork. They even handled the paperwork to get me permanent plates in North Carolina. Left in a couple of hours and drove back to North Carolina. Well worth the trip. Great folks to do business with. Note when I looked up cost of flights to Washington I found that it would cost about $250 for a single one-way if I got off in Washington but if I went on to Boston by way of New York then it would would only cost about $125 . It would be the same flight from Raleigh to Wash. So I made that reservation for the longer flight to Boston with stops in Washington and New York and when we arrived in Wash. and had to change planes for the next leg I just walked out of the terminal and caught the subway. If you are any where near the East Coast I doubt you would find a better deal than Fitzgerald Mall in Maryland.
