Replying to: 1nickatnite1 (Nov 08, 2008 12:11 pm) I think you should be able to do better.   I just bought one yesterday for around 18,000 and financed on the 2.9% special apr. This was a "loss leader" car, advertised in the newspaper on Friday morning.   If I were you, and if possible, I would wait until next weekend, check the Friday paper, and see if there are any LE's on special. Regardless, if you wait a few days and tell the dealer you think you can do better--especially on a cash purchase--he'll probably drop his price as well.   Good luck, these are excellent cars, even coming from a BMW.

Replying to: 1nickatnite1 (Nov 08, 2008 12:11 pm) Also, for what it's worth, I received a firm quote from Toyota of Orange for $17,565 for an 09 LE 4 cylinder. The reason I didn't go with them was because they refused to offer 2.9 financing--even at a price 1000 more than this. But if you were shopping cash, this is a pretty good price considering your color selection would not be limited to the few cars on special.

I got a quote (for 2009 LE Silver Camry with a moonroof) through email for $23,589 - $3,684 = $19,905. This is already include the $1,000 rebate.   I am interesting in getting the 0% APR and trade in my 1996 Camry.   Is this a good deal? Any advice or tips is appreciated. So your quote of 19.9 is effectively 20.9 if you finance at 0% apr.   I'm not sure what LEs with the moonroof package are going for but my inclination is that you can still do better than 20.9. I am trying to buy a Camry LE (auto) in Mass or NH, the best e-price I received is $18743 (after $650 rebate), add 5% tax, documentation and plate fee of $411, final OTD price is $20091, can anyone tell me if the is a good price? Also I would like to trade in my Camry 97 LE (auto), average condition with 180,000 miles, any thought of the trade-in value ? Thanks. The drive price factor seems to be: "how crappy is the local economy?" California's unemployment rate is edging over 8% and the banks aren't making loans. That is driving prices down. How is the economy Massachusetts?

That still leaves another 800-ish in price difference. I think the lost deals have been 17,500? There could be more incentives in California. Not all incentives are made public.
