Purchased a 08 LE Auto for $20450 out the door with Tax(7% in FL)TT....took advantage of the $1000 rebate for 08. Second car is a 09 SE Auto with Wing and Matts for $23000 out the door with TTT and will take advantage of the 2.9% apr for 36 months. I had 2 dealers give me the same offer..guessing its the end of the month, etc |

Lowest no haggle internet price for 2009 Toyota Camry LE in the DC-Baltimore area we've found is at Antwerpen in Clarksville. Base Price: $19,273 (cargo and floor mats included) Tags, licensing, 2 years registration fees: $217 Tax (6%): $952.38 which includes a $210 tax break for a seemless vehicle trade-in worth $3500 (had vehicle appraised at Carmax previously) Processing Fee: $100 Total walk out price: $20,542.38 (including cargo and floor mats) We were able to have Castle Toyota in Baltimore match the price, but they wouldn't accept my trade-in at Carmax's value, wouldn't throw in the mats and the attitude of the owner/top manager was flat-out nightmarish. |

Basically a package 2 deal, the UP package, moonroof(why is it called that?), heated mirrors, mats, etc. Sticker $28,329, my out the door cost, thats tax title and license came to $28,500. Finance rate is 6.39% with a $1000 cash back debit card from the bank. All said and done, this is 27,500 after the rebate, I would say it was a good deal.

Also, I guess month ending was another factor. |

Your tax rate is different than most of us reviewing this so the real question is what did you pay for the car BEFORE Taxes, lisc and fees? When you add all that in a deal we have no idea what you really paid for the car. In my State we only pay taxes on the trade difference. Then it's 6%. I've read a lot of posts paying a lot more and sometimes on the full cost. It varies widely across the country. What was the discount from the MSRP? The bank card is a sweet deal, that would put your effective loan rate to around 5%. If you pay off early then it's even better. (Although I can get a 5% rate right now at my Credit Union)
