Replying to: billipsimo (Oct 21, 2007 2:53 pm) My guess about this is that there were some problems with the transmission software (and maybe hardware) early on. They started making 07's back in the middle of 06. Toyota fixed the problems, but did as it did with the sludge problem of 4-5 years ago; it was arrogant and would not come clean with owners. In the case of the sludge problem, they wound up in a class action suit. In this case, they got some really bad publicity which may be more damaging even though the cars are ok.

Replying to: beoperson (Oct 09, 2007 5:53 am) I live in Philadelphia and so far, I have had a price quote of $20,483 excluding tax and tag for Camry LE 2008. Is the $19,500 with or without tax and tag. Even if its without I think its a really good deal. I would really appreciate if you could share your experience with me as this is my first time I am buying a brand new car or which dealership in NJ is giving you $19,500.

Replying to: kiawah (Oct 24, 2007 3:42 pm) Based on the site, lowest I can go is about $20,046.00. I was also told by sales person that they have to charge Toyota adverising fee for $300.00, which I've never heard before - included in the price I got. Anyone?
