#5800 of 10203 Great experience with Fitzmall.com!

Just want to second kiawah's suggestion. Just got back to New Orleans with my new 2007 Camry XLE V6 yesterday. I wanted Vehicle Stability Control and emailed dealers in Houston and New Orleans who had them in stock offering them $600 OTD excluding taxes over the invoice price of just under $27k shown by Edmunds and Consumer Reports. With holdback, this was offering a quick profit of about $1000 without much work. I was also going to finance part of it through Toyota credit which probably would get them a few extra perks. I also mentioned that I could buy the car at Fitzmall for 26,973 + $99 doc fee and I was offering them the additional amount it would cost to fly up and bring it back. Only got a couple of offers back and they were way higher. One explained that they had lots of "dealer adds",i.e. useless addons to increase dealer profits. Another tried to tell me invoice was $28k.
Contacted Brian at the Fitzmall Gaithersburg location. Made the arrangements. If you start far enough ahead of time, you can fedex the paperwork and have everything done before you arrive and the salesman will meet you at the airport to deliver the car. In my case, other considerations rushed things, so he picked me up at the airport, took me to the dealership, showed the car and we signed the papers. No pressure, no trouble, everything was exactly as advertised.
Camry XLE V6
Vehicle Stability Control (heated seats are packaged wit VSC)
Preferred Accessory Package V1 (Mat Set, Glass break sensor)
Delivered price $26,937 + 99 doc fee.
BTW, it's a wonderful car. Rides as good as or 2004 Avalon. Got over 30mpg on the trip home.

bigmike2--I also bought at Fitz and also from Brian C. Exact same experience, although I only had to drive back to VA and not LA.
TO RAJUNKS--I would seiously reconsider before going to darcars. Even for a cup of coffee.

Typo correction: The package with mats and Glass break sensor was Z1 not V1. Also got wheel locks.

What? Are you expecting someone to do your shopping for you?
Go to www.fitzmall.com, find the model you want with the features you want, get their MSRP, invoice, and sales price.....head on over to your local dealer to negotiate!
If they match the price you got a good deal. If they don't, you can shop elsewhere, or head on down to Fitz.

Just got a quote from a Chicago dealer for 2008 Toyota Camry LE 4 cylinder base model: $19,571 plus documentation fee of $58.48, taxes and license fees. What do you think? Is it a good price? Should I bite?
Thanks a ton!
