| I always read here in this forum that some people here got their 07 Camry LE 4cyl auto for $17988 plus tax, title and other fees from some dealers in so. calif. I emailed one, Power Toyota of Cerritos, and gave me a quote of $19,354 plus tax, title and other fees, and that includes a $500 rebate which is the same price here in Las Vegas, NV. I am willing to travel to southern cal if the aforementioned price is true. Where are these people and show your receipts if you are telling the truth? | |

Interesting aside in a Dallas Morning New article about the coming midsize sedan wars: "At many Toyota stores, dealers are buying every Camry that's available from the factory, partly in anticipation of sales events. Toyota already offers low-interest financing and up to $3,000 in incentives on some models of '07 Camrys, according to Automotive News. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/bus/stories/DN-carwar_08bus.ART0.Sta- te.Edition1.35a8458.html Anyone seen evidence of this?

Just skip posts you don't like man. We try to be very civil in Edmunds as most of us are here for "fun, without the attitude". Read your post twice, as I didn't understand it at first and then it hit me. Lighten up dude!!! The Sandman |

As far as the big discounts on LE's I think those are sometimes deals offered on 1-2 cars to bring business into the lots, so you see them occasionally. |

Replying to: kiawah (May 18, 2007 1:40 pm) I am a recent grad, and plan on purchasing a Camry 07/08 (dont care) by the end of this month (September). I dont really care for any extras... LE is enough for me, and I'd even consider CE Could anyone share their experiences and OTD cost for one? I'll be living in Seattle (Bellevue/Redmond) area... THANKS!

Hello, I am new here. I got an internet quote from a Socal dealer for 18,254 (DCH Oxnard) and another one for 18,300( Toyota Simi Valley), both plus tax/licensing/etc. I went to the first dealer and was about to start the purchase process but I pointed out to the internet salesman who is also doing the paper works that I will be financing through my credit union. He was already taking my information but when he was at the part on SSN #, I told him that I am not giving it since I already have my credit union. He was insistent that he must have it and it's required under the law and he must run my credit report. Now this is the first time that I've heard like this. I told him no and walk away. Anybody have encountered like this? The only reason I can think of is that they are sending my SSN# to multiple credit institution and get something out of it. |
