Bargain with the dealer for several days. I got the BASIC LE without anything at $21,600 for OTD. My location is albany, NY. Is this a decent price?

Went to Toyota's web site and did build your own car. Priced out TCH in black over bisque with nav, moonroof, leather, comfort pkg, carpeted floor and trunk mats. Came in at $31k even. Took printout to Deland Toyota in Deland Fl on Tues june 19th. Southeast Toyota Distributors offer a come on called Toyoguard at $699. Told them do not need it, do not want it and will not pay for it. Told them wanted lip spoiler, side trim molding and pin stripe. Got a call the next day saying they found the car in Leesburg Fl. It did have the Toyoguard pgk but I would not have to pay for it. Car sticker was $31547 w/ delivery of $675. Invoice.per Edmunds, $28,650 (includes $712 SET administration fee for NC, SC, GA, Al, and Fl) TMV $30,252. Paid $28,737 before taxes, dealer fee, tag transfer etc.5.85% finance. Picked up last Friday Jun22. So far, so good. Comfortable ride, lots of interior room great stereo, nav and bluetooth.

I have no idea. I'm not connected with any dealership or manufacturer to have any inside scoop.

Souled, Just purchased a Camry LE with 5 speed Automatic this afternoon (7/1/2007) from Toyota of Concord (Charlotte, NC) for $21,235 OTD (3% NC Tax & $69 Tags). Options included Leather Seats, Camry Floor Mats and Splashguards. Great people to work with, arranged deal over the phone and car was delivered as promised. Hard to find a vehicle without the Toyoguard Protection (ripoff) package. Felt we received a good deal, price was several hundred dollars better that the Costco $100 over invoice price that I received from another dealer in town.

2007 Camry SE 4-Cyl by nathan118

Hi everybody, I'm in the process of collecting quotes from some local dealers online, and I wanted your opinions. The 4-cyl SE camrys come in basically one feature set here in southern california. The only options added are:

Floor Mats
Rear Spoiler
Sunroof (I don't want it, but they ALL come that way here)

MSRP I've been quoted several times is $24,099.

Southbay Toyota quoted $22,190.

Longo Toyota quoted $22,000.

Carson Toyota quoted $21,109.

I'm digging that last one. Believe he said it was $500 under invoice. Should I jump at this?

Thanks for the help!

I stopped into 355 Toyota here in the D.C. area and the guy said the 2008s would be out at the end of the year (ARGHHHH!) - but I think it was a guess.

However, the salesperson at Fitzmall (I've told him I intend to buy from there but I want a 2008 TCH) said sometime around late August-beginning of September. I hope that he is correct.

It's frustrating that we're here at the beginning of July and there is very little info on when the 2008s will be coming out.
