It appears that many of you have had lousy experiences at your dealership. Just be glad you now have a Toyota and you won't have to go through it again for several years!

I was fortunate with my last 8 Toyotas as the dealer in St Albans, WV (they changed sales policies a few years back) and now the one I deal with Buckhannon Auto Mall have been great to work with. Working with them I was able to get my TCH EARLY (May5th) in time for the WV state tax credit. They also had it in my hands within a few hours of the truck dropping it off at the dealership and offer a "Free Tires For Life" program.

yup, as i feared they wont change my car, but all they will do is just bring it over a body shop and align my bumpers, How I wish I just bought the HONDA, I never had this problem with Honda.... Do you guys know what do I have to ask for all of this pain and sufferings???

reordering camry SE 5spd by sammya_md

just another heads up on my situation for those who custom ordered a camry...i ordered a camry aug 14th and it came in oct 9th. Went to the dealership to pick up the car, and noticed scratches all over the car, not to the paint, but in the clearcoat. Apparently when they were waxing and buffing the car for delivery, something got on their mitt or glove and scratched up the finish. I was told they could fix this, and agreed to come back the next day. Upon going back, the scratches were less visible, but still there, along with a new series of scratches by the grill. With these issues, didn't buy the car, as I wanted one without these scratches. After thinking for a day, went back and re-ordered another camry, same specs. Told around 2 months wait, perhaps less, so we will see what happens.

Toyota came through with my order, if only the dealership didn't mess up the paint finish while preparing it for delivery. Worse for them, and I have to wait another few months, but I want a quality product when I'm buying anything, much less a car.

Good decision to wait. The scratch isn't really gone. They used fine wax to hide the scratch. The scratch will appear much worse after a couple of car washes.

Let the board know which dealer you were dealing with, so we can avoid picking up that scratched car.

If your not worried of selling your car in four years or five, go for the best value for your money a Sonata, but if your like me who wants to have peace of mind... I go with Toyota... Good luck...btw my 05 Tucson was 20,000 OTD last Aug, sold it this year August for just 11,000... thats alot of depreciation..and the hyundais customer service is no good at all... happy car buying...

this car was a custom order, black SE 5spd..only option I got on it was a rear lip spoiler...i'm confident in saying it's the only one like that on dealers lots in america (as the manager of the dealership searched all other dealerships and couldn't find a similar car a couple of days ago)
