yes, final price and then tax, title, and license...oh I forgot...the $45 documentation fee, $8 for the California tire fee. Final price OTD was around $20200. Since I live in Santa Clara county, the tax is 8.25%.

they tried to get me to buy the extra warranty and maintenance program, but I didn't bite. The recommended stuff on the camry is oil change, lube chassis, and INSPECT a ton of stuff. Not worth the $800 they want.

Best of luck buying. Remember to hit them up towards the end of the month. Weekdays are a bit better since they are not busy and want to sell cars. To get the best deal, do things that others won't do. All prices should included destination fees. Don't put up with any hidden cost, but ask youself if it's worth a few hundred buck to walk away from a deal.

I do out of principle, but should change my attitude.

anyhow, the car drives better than expected. My wife loves it and we put on 200+ miles on it over the past 2 days. It acts as our commuter car.

So you flew to Ontario and then drove it back after pickup from Toyota Marina Del Rey?

So your total cost is 20,200 OTD plus $100 plus about 7 hours of driving time and the gas.

Not bad.

I think I was quoted 21,700 -ish by Sunnyvale Toyota. They claimed LEs at a minimum had the mat package, which is like a $200 option?

Did you have to take that too?

Hey Guys I guess i should i have specified in my previous post that when i bought the car i was tols that the car has ALL SEASON tires ...as i stay in California i think all season tires are the one which i should go for.
Also i forgot to mention that the dealar lost my STICKER while washing the car... THAT SUCKS....and now its been a week the customer Manager cant find out whether my car has summer tires or ALl season tires....Treadwear on my TOYO proxes J33B is 220 whereas for TOYO proxes TPT(ALL SEASON)have treadwear of 440.
Until now i have spoken to the dealer and not contacted TOYOTA...but i guess now i will have to.
Thanks for the feedback guys....but i still beleive i should get i paid for.

The J33 are summer performance tires.

All season tires should have a "M + S" on them.

The dealer can get you another window sticker!!!!!!!

2007 Camry XLE V6 in SoCal by caleb2007

I had to order this to get it with the options I wanted/didn't want. My dealer said that they're not sending this car to So Cal with the vehicle stability control. It should be ready in 6-8 weeks. This is the quote I'm getting:

2007 Camry XLE V6 with Vehicle Stability Control, side molding (to be installed by dealer), floor & trunk mats -
$27,902 before TTL.

Anybody know if this is a good price for Southern Cal?

Thanks.

If the vehicle is equipped as you described, the MSRP is $29,144 and dealer invoice is about $26,533.

I think $27,902 (almost $1,400 over dealer invoice) is a terrible price anywhere, anytime.

.....but Toyota dealers find suckers everyday and everywhere.
