Replying to: lakewolves (Apr 26, 2006 8:25 am) BIG two toyota then stripped 250 off and other 200 off. finally BIg two offered 400 as new college graduate rebate. So he finally offered 19294.I have not talked to other two dealers about college graduate. I am sure I will get from them also becos it is on toyota website. I am still not sure wheather this price is good. ( 19294) from BIG two toyota. Plus one thing which is hitting my mind is that jerk when car picks up speed from start. I do not know whether it is normal for 4 cyln since I am a new driver.

Replying to: lakewolves (Apr 27, 2006 5:31 am) I think you are right. All these dealers they tell me 19444 as the invoive price and one of them said that if you feel like you can have look at my invoive? As per edmunds website invoive price ( including mats and destination) = 19042. about the toyota financial option, I guess you are right. however he did say anything that I have to finance through toyota. I talked to him on phone. I think if I go there he will put up this condition. about the slight jerk I do not know I felt it, May it is part of car picking up speed.

Replying to: satul96 (Apr 27, 2006 9:46 am) Read all of the info on Edmunds or this Forum from the beginning if you want to learn something: The invoice price does not include any fees that may be charged by the manufacturer to dealers in a particular area of the country, such as local advertising fees. Edmunds.com does not track or provide such local fees. If an advertising fee appears on the invoice, it is an actual cost that the dealer paid to the manufacturer when buying the vehicle. In other cases dealers may choose to write in their own ad fees on the consumer sales contract. However, in either case these advertising fees are just one example of the dealer's cost of doing business. As with all such dealer-itemized fees, consumers should treat as "negotiable" any advertising fee they are asked to pay. Drive another car, re: your jerk. |
