i was always wondering how does one get a good deal on a camry or any car in demand for that matter... if i walk into a dealership and say i want a camry with certain specs and they say they don't have one, but they can "locate" one (at a different dealership), can we assume he has less margin, since he now has to buy it from a different dealership? i'd like to get a fully loaded 07 camry xle v6, but just checking local inventories online indicate there aren't too many ordered that way... question is... can you get the best deal for cars that a dealer has in stock? how about ordering them to your specs? or "locating" from a different dealership? thanks for any insight... |

Hi Everybody: I been reading this website for almost a year and this is my first posting. I get a quote for 07 Camry LE V6 no additional option for $23,400 OTD. Do you guys think this is a good deal or can I do better? Thanks for the help.

Can anyone recommend an Ohio dealer that will give a fair deal? I'm looking for an XLE V6, probably through a dealer trade, and I'm willing to pay $1000 over invoice, but here in Dayton they act like these cars are demanding MSRP. I'm happy to travel to other cities or even neighboring states!

Replying to: parnola (Apr 18, 2006 6:49 pm) Our ability to negotiate may have been helped by the fact that we purchased ours before the advertising blitz started (about a month ago). We still don't have an ETA for the car, but Toyota has officially "allocated" a production vehicle (meaning they will build one to our specs). |

Replying to: suk (Apr 18, 2006 11:25 am) They originally gave me that price on an SE they had on its way. It was the color I wanted but it lacked a few options I had wanted. So I was all set to purchase it and then asked if I add on some other items. In the end I got what I wanted and they kept their pricing the same even though they had to order it. I was quite happy with the way it went. -calipso27 |

Camry V4 LE or SE with following options I am Looking to buy Camry 2007 V4 either LE or SE in NY/NJ/CT/PA Area with following options Exterior Color preference Grey Interior Color preference Dark Charcoal or Ash VSC (Vehicle Stability control) Must have WB (Alloy Wheels) Prefer to have it EJ (Upgraded Sound system) Nice to have EC (Mirror) Nice to have Leather Nice to have I don't care about rest of the stuff Any idea what should be the realistic price fro it ? I think LE with above option minus leather should cost about 21K + TTL and SE should be 21.5K + 1K for leather +TTL Does it make difference to place order vs. buying from available inventory. Any recommendations... |
