Thanks for the info. Hopefully the dealer will realize this as well when they give me another price, or when I counter-offer to them.

Price paid for 07 SE 4-cyl. by calipso27

I posted this earlier in another thread...

I went out and test drove the new SE 4-cyl. this week and was quite impressed.
Overall I loved the new look and enjoyed how it rode, plus it's got some nice new features.

I compared the Subaru Legacy 2.5i, Honda Accord EX-L and the new Camry SE. Each I like for different reasons, but in the end I got the best deal on the Camry. I ended up getting a quote on an SE in Magnetic Gray w/ Charcoal cloth (included spoiler, JBL speakers, mats, alloy wheels and moonroof) for only $300 above invoice - which was around $2,680 off the MSRP. How does this compare with others prices? Did I get a middle of the road deal or come out ahead?

I was pleased with the dealer I got the quote from - no nonsense. I asked for their lowest price and they delivered it without an hassle. However, now that I am asking if they can add on another option or two they are balking at the sale??? I'm unsure of why I am getting so many different answers from different dealers....

Any comments on what others are getting as far as MPG with their new SE?

Sounds like you got a great price on the SE, much better that I have found. Is this dealer anywhere close to Missouri??

Just bought a blue 07 Camy LE, 4cyl for $23,275 with these items on the sticker:
base price: 20,500
JBL Sat/Bluetooth radio: 1000
Alloy Wheels: 410.00
Moonroof package: 940
Vehicle stability: 650
Carpet/trunk mat set: 199
I paid about $750 under sticker (MSRP)
I purchased at Carmax in Laurel, MD. They actually sell new Toyotas there with no haggeling and great fair trade-in prices.

Does your price of $19250 include any options? Please list them if it includes options. Thanks!
You can calculate how much it costs for the 11 oil changes and the 15K, 30K, and 45K services. The maintenace plan should be much cheaper than the cost as you are prepaid for it.

CARMAX does provide good prices on trade-ins but their new car prices are terrible On an LE, they should have done much better than 750 off MSRP. Most dealers like Beltway Toyota or Miller Toyota are offering about 2K off MSRP. CARMAX makes you pay for the no haggle luxury big time!

YES, this was a major rip off! You bought a Toyota Camry man, not a lexus or mercedes. All you will need done in the first 55,000 is about 14 oil changes, figure $25 a piece ($350 total) and four tire rotations at $20 a piece ($80 total). So you spent $1295 up front money in todays dollars for about $400 in services that with coupons you could get even cheaper than that. Forget those dealer 15k, 30k, and 45K maintenance packages. There are not necessary, never were and aren't now. Change your oil ever 3000 miles, rotate your tires every 7,500 to 10,000 and forget the rest. Are you sure the maitenance package wasn't $295? Get a refund as fast as possible as you got ripped off big time! Remember, you bought Camry!

Hi
I live in Norristown Pa. twenty minutes from Philly.I would like to know how people who live near me have been doing on there prices for a 2007 camry SE. I have been emailing offers starting at invoice, and I either get a reply that they can't sell at that price or I don't get any replys at all.The best offer was 1,000 over invoice.
Looks like I'll have to wait a couple of months until they start to budge.
Thanks
Ralph
